One of the stranger shows in recent memory, Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere pretty much defies any attempt at explanation. Despite this, it somehow received quite a bit of attention and a lot of hype, some of which we brought to you when Volks previewed this upcoming release.
Featuring the series' main female protagonist, Horizon, Volks managed to stay pretty true to the original art style. While I'm not a huge fan, there is a certain appeal, something similar to the classic style of shows like Slayers of the 90s. I will say they nailed the mechanical parts of her outfit, and the latex-like sheen on the tighter parts looks very unique and very nice as well.
Honestly, the only truly off-putting thing about this figure, to me, is the gravity-defying chest--yet another staple of early 90s classics. Still, she's worth a look, so take a glance or two at this gallery from GA Graphic and see for yourself.
