Hey, I keep forgetting about series like this from SQUARE ENIX. I thought their Final Fantasy world only consisted of Cloud and Sephiroth but they are proving me wrong with the release of the fourth installment of their Final Fantasy Creatures series.
The Final Fantasy Creatures series are miniature figures of the various tough monsters from the Final Fantasy world usually consisting of boss monsters or summons. So if you were hoping for a Goblin from Final Fantasy or a Were-Rat from Final Fantasy VI, sorry. What this set has for you though is mighty Omega Weapon and King Behemoth from Final Fantasy VIII, the Final Fantasy X version of Malboro, Bahamut Fury from the Crisis Core; Final Fantasy VII, and the Shadow Creeper from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. It's not specified if the Shadow Creeper is from the version of Advent Children that has more dirt or not.
The Final Fantasy Creatures Vol. 4 comes in a box of 8 figures and is retailing for ¥7,040 with a release date set for June, 2012. I would love to see a villains collection by SQUARE ENIX, something that is not just Sephiroth who Nomura can't stop having steamy fantasies of. Cripes, there was the Dissidia: Final Fantasy collection they started which could have easily gave us the villains, too. Also, why does Final Fantasy USA: Mystic Quest get no love? Just saying...
