At Comiket 81 in late December last year, Max Factory had on display several of its upcoming figma figures. One of those figures was the Princess of the Crystal from Mawaru Penguindrum. I found the figure to be captivating with the design of the outfit.
Good Smile Company has revealed on their Nico Nico broadcast the Princess of the Crystal figma figure in color and she's looking ever so much more beautiful. ...as for what a low resolution video can present. I wasn't too sure about her face originally when the figure was unpainted but I'm quite happy with what I see. The Princess of the Crystal's hair is split in the back allowing you to have control of posing it but it still looks like her dress is static. It definitely looks like her posing with her legs will be limited. Of course, the Princess of the Crystal will also include Penguin #3. What else will she come with? We'll just have to wait and see.
It's safe to say we'll see more of her at Wonder Festival 2012 [Winter] on February 12, 2012. Heck, we might see her before then on Mikatan's Blog since she's now in color. Either way, it's one of the more unique designs that I wouldn't mind owning in my collection. What about you?
