Recently seen in the latest magazine scans, Good Smile Company has a colored version of Sayaka Miki from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Since badly scanned pages usually don't give a good look at a figure, lucky for you Mikatan's Blog has updated with a full preview of this little magical lady.
The 1/8 scale Sayaka brings with her a cute pose with her legs crossing and her arms spread out while her cap and skirt float in the wind. Once again I am impressed by folds including the slight ones tugging on her body and especially the ones in her skirt. I do have to laugh at how the skirt lifts up enough in the back to tease a glimpse at her rear cheeks. I like that the trim on her boots and the ruffles on her outfit push away from her body showing that they are loose. She also has a cute face and expression and the hair is looking okay. Of course, we mustn't forget Sayaka's swords which feature a gold trim and some very shiny, metallic colored blades.
That's all I can really say about the figure. I like the outfit design but at the same time, it's a bit basic. Because of this, unfortunately, I can't really say it's the most impressive of figures. It's nice but that's about it. Good Smile Company's 1/8 scale Sayaka will be going up for pre-order on January 26, 2012 in Japan so keep your eyes peeled for your favorite outlets to add her.
With Sayaka out of the way as well as Madoka, Homura, and Mami, that only leaves one lady left. A lady that Mikatan's Blog teased. So the question is, how long do we have to wait until we see the full preview of Kyouko? Is Kyouko the one that you've been patiently waiting for or are you hunky dory with the other ladies available?
