Doing A Little Housekeeping Over On Top Blogs By Crafters

It's that time of the year again and I've been doing a little annual housekeeping on Top Blogs By Crafters  and Top Blogs By Crafters toplist.   As a result I deleted close to 70 blogs that were no longer being actively maintained.

I don't know about all of you, but I find it sad when I have to delete a blog. I just LOVE crafts and craft blogs so, for me, it's always sad to see so many blogs go. Especially if they've been around for awhile and up to the last year or two were posted in. Many of the blogs I deleted had been members since 2006 and 2007, but were no longer being actively maintained.

I hope you know that I'm always trying to find ways to bring attention to the fantastic blogs of the members of Top Blogs By Crafters. Last year I set-up a Top Blogs By Crafters" Facebook page which gets a lot of attention.

This year I decided to set-up a "Top Blogs By Crafters" board on my LWOriginals Pinterest.com page and have been slowly adding members blogs to the board. Some of the members banners were not large enough (pixel wise) to upload to Pinterest.com so while I was out reviewing the blogs I took the opportunity to update a few of the current members blogs banners. I'm still working on this, but we're getting a lot of "likes" and "re-pins" over there which is good.  Hopefully, that's translating into more exposure for all the blogs.

Also, while doing a little housekeeping I spruced up Top Blogs By Crafters with some new wallpaper and stream lined the format a little.

We still have 504 active members with fantastic blogs. I could spend all day doing nothing but reading through some of the members blogs and drooling over some of their creations. Everyone is just so talented.

If you haven't checked out some of the blogs on Top Blogs By Crafters latelyplease pay us a visit. If you love arts & crafts, artists, and crafters then you will love browsing through the members blogs. Bring a pot of coffee.  You'll be there a while.

Maybe bring a napkin or two. I'm sure you'll be drooling, too!
