Henge returns under a different name and with a new transformer!
It has been a while since we had last heard from HENGE. Long time readers may remember his amazingly detailed mecha model kits but we haven't heard from him recently. Well, he's back with a new name and a new kit!
Henge has reverted to using his own name instead of a pseudonym and has shown off his next transforming kit in the shape of Stingray. All the usual hallmarks are there, the detail is simply amazing and the transformation is incredibly smooth with no clutter.
The item is available in both pre-built and kit form and retails for ¥19,800 from his own website or, if you are able to purchase from the EU, you can also purchase it from Shapeways for €212. Good to see that he's still active and here's hoping that we see more in the near future from this talented scuptor.

Possible Crossover Exclusives Revealed At JoeCon 2015? Stealth BAT Soundwave? Old Snake?
The official GI Joe convention JoeCon is happening right now, and something interesting has been spotted. Artwork on a sheet of uncut collector cards shows the already known Marissa Faireborn, but also numerous Stealth BAT units, recolored from Transformers Prime Soundwave. Also seen is Old Snake, the version of Cobra Commander in the far-flung future of 2005 or so. No word on if these will be products for sale, so for now enjoy the art! New Stock Photos Of Platinum Edition Seeker Squadron Conehead Three Pack
Hasbro has just posted promotional photography for the Platinum G1 reissue Conehead Seeker set. The set which features the first US-reissue of two of these figures doesn't show any obvious sign of modifications to toys or decos, keeping them as a pretty basic set of rereleases. Hasbro's site notably lacks pricing information, but prices in Singapore where this set has been available have ranged the equivalent of $65-$85. Click through to check out the images.

Top selling toys in Japan for week of 3/30 to 4/5
So last time I lamented a bit that figma Sinon from Sword Art Online II didn't rank during her release week. Well it seems she received a delayed reaction as she ranked pretty high in the first week of April. And she wasn't even the only figma on the list! Plus a new bot that isn't a Gundam hits the rankings as well.

I wish I knew what the sales numbers looked like on these because I imagine it was a close call between Nagato and Sinon. Also nice to see Orguss on there, a mech that isn't made by Bandai (directly). Haven't seen a whole lot of change in the overall rankings as Ninninjer continues to be super hot with kids right now. Still, it's interesting to see Bandai's grip slip a little more.
