LIONCITY CLANS: 36 Chambers Graff Jam exhibition 2013
LION CITY CLANS: THE 36 CHAMBERS is a graffiti art jam cum exhibition in conjunction with the RADIKAL FORZE 15TH ANNIVERSARY B-BOY JAM. I've only featured a few crews' work and walls, now this video showcases ALL the crew involved in this event, curated by ZERO of RSCLS/SOLIDARITY21. To an "outsider" like me looking into the scene, it is always awesome to see the work out in from the urban artists which populate Singapore's artscape, IMHO.

Funko adds the Walking Dead blind box to their series
After releasing bobble heads, Pop! plush, and Pop! vinyl figures, Funko is now releasing The Walking Dead blind box vinyl figures. Each figure measures 2.5 inches and will sell for US$6.95. Looking at their lineup for this series, it's clear that Funko is listening to fans.
Out of the 16 different figures you can get, only four of them are living characters from the show; Daryl, Merle, and a blood splattered Daryl and Merle. All of the other figures are different zombies seen from the show. As popular as I know the Dixon brothers are, I wish more characters were included here.
Maybe that's because I'm not a Daryl fan girl and I prefer Rick, but adding Michonne would have been nice too. This blind box The Walking Dead series will be available in late June.

Deathstroke takes on Kotobukiya's DC ARTFX line
Kotobukiya has uploaded a photo gallery for its upcoming 1/6 scale DC ARTFX New 52 Deathstroke statue. The statue will stand nearly 12-inches tall and features a removable faceplate held in place by the power of magnetism.
Deathstroke, a name forever associated with the Teen Titans, has enjoyed a good amount of fan recognition even among non-comic readers thanks to his recurring role on the Teen Titans animated series (where he was instead called Slade, taken from his secret identity of Slade Wilson) as well as frequent video game appearances such as his recent inclusion in Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Up until now, I had actively disliked Deathstroke's New 52 costume revamp. However, Kotobukiya's ArtFX statue shows its better aspects. The armored harness which at first struck me as awkward now seems practical in terms of offering defense without losing mobility. The somewhat off-balanced color scheme (which concentrates a lot of orange above his belt) just seems to work from a lower angle. And, despite Slade's age, his behind is apparently quite shapely. In fact, this might be the first statue to demonstrate the shapeliness of Deathstroke's posterior -- he seems to have the ass of a man half his age.
However, the coolest aspect of this figure by far is the removable faceplate. Kotobukiya did a fantastic job detailing the intricacies of the contract killer's grizzled visage. This extra display option really gives Slade a leg (or eye) up on the competition. Kotobukiya's DC ARTFX New 52 Deathstroke statue is slated (or Sladed) to release in November. Expect pre-orders to open soon.

Star Wars And You
One thing I do like about Star Wars, is that it could be enjoyed by anyone, anywhere. And in this particular instance, Star Wars Day Jakarta 2013 - happening May 18th to 19th, a couple of weeks after the May 4th worldwide celebrations, no doubt, but it has proven that "time" is of no particular deterrent, to folks wanting to enjoy and to celebrate all-things Star Wars!
What is it about the lore, which appeals and attracts people of all generations? I asked folks on my Facebook(s) a couple of questions:
"I believe Star Wars is a story about how people try to forge their own destiny but realize, only too late, that they cannot outrun destiny because of their associations and their ties to family." ~B.V. Marin.
"Redemption." ~Hwee Leong Chew.
"It's all about love in the culture of starwars and everything in between…" ~@DavidTheKiller
"LIFE." ~Rusted Halo.
