From Ferg comes the Retaile-Edition SQUBE in splendid "Gun Metal" paint finish on these 4x4x4 ABS plastic collectibles, and they are by far my fav looking Squbes, IMHO … but then again, I own zero Squbes, so I'm basing on online images seen LOL
Neither price nor quantities are revealed, so it would do you good to contact your fav retailers, and bug them for availability. (If you would like to become a Playge retailer please contact ferg@playge.net for MOQ and qualification details.)
My Love Of Custom Fabric Pinterest Board
I LOVE designing custom fabric and love browsing Pinterest to see all the wonderful eye candy. So, of course, I decided to set-up a "My LOVE of Custom Fabric" Pinterest board.
I added the Pinterest widget to the sidebar of my "Linda Walsh Originals Fabric Designs" blog so you can view my latest pins when ever you visit my blog.
I'm sure I'll be adding more and more fabric to my board over time and hope you like it.

About That "Predator" Figure from Jay222
Remember that awesome Predator sculpt from Jay222 I featured not too long ago? Yes, it has since been completed, and it is now in the hands of Max Nagata - Mark Nagata's son (it's his hands in the pic above, I reckon) - as a birthday gift!
I had an extensive interview with the man back in 2011, so have a read what he's all about, and heck yes, I STILL think this Predator-sculpt could be an awesome production piece! Someone go email Jason at "jay222toy (at) gmail (dot) com" and make it happen, c'mon!

Of Eyezons & Don Antlers from Javier Jiménez
Here's a look at the WIP-sculpt of the "Gangsta Eyezon" as designed by Javier Jiménez - as seen in the Kaiju Eyezon 5th Anniversary poster -based on Mark Nagata's Eyezon from Max Toy Co!
"I was really eager to show you guys pictures of what Mark Nagata and I have been working on for a while with the guys of Barbatos FX." ~mentioned Javier. Further info when I have them!
And this post also takes a look at another Javier Jiménez-creation, with the multiplication of his "Don Antler" (L.A Kaiju FAM toy) - also by Barbatos FX - last seen as a sculpted prototype! Looking forward to further developments :)
Take aim at this preview of figma Rei Kuroki
Hot on the heels of Akane Isshiki, the next girl in figma's Vividred Operation range has shown up in a preview on the figma blog. This time it's the mysterious dark haired Rei Kuroki, the latest in a longstanding magical girl show tradition of antagonists-who-will-eventually-become-friends.
Because they're uniform figures, Rei shares the same basic look as Akane but I have to say I'm not quite digging her as much. The scarf looks cool (and can be removed to reveal her distinctive neck mark, a nice touch) but I really don't like the thigh highs. I'm guessing they're meant to be black but these photos make them look a horrible sludgy brown and the decision to make them glossy just exacerbates the problem.
The accessories are cool though. Aside from her distinctive feather bow and arrow, you'll also get a miniature handgun and a machinegun with strap, plus three faces in the neutral, angry and embarrassed looks. Perhaps the most unique bonus is a replacement set of shorts that allow the handgun to be tucked into them at the back. It's certainly...distinctive and I'm not sure exactly how it works - do you have to take off her legs? We'll find out soon though, as pre-orders will begin tomorrow at the surprisingly high price of ¥4000, and she'll wing her way to homes in October.

Second wave of Gargantia Beach Queens outed
Wave have got the Gargantia on the Vedurous Planet licence and they aren't messing around with it. Less than a week after they revealed they were working on Amy and Bellows, the company blog has revealed two more Beach Queens from the show. This time it's Amy's two friends who get the spotlight, token loli Melty and the slightly more rounded Saya.
I'm not as excited about these two as Amy and Bellows, chiefly because they're much less interesting characters, but it's still cool to see Wave is committed to producing figures from the show. I do hope that they take the time to actually do some sculpting and show off some prototypes before making even more announcements though. We'll be keeping an eye on these four and we'll let you know as soon as anything new pops up.
