Pacific Rim Japan
Saw the trailer for Pacific Rim when we went to see Iron Man 3 the other day and it immediately went on the "must see" list.
Synopsis from the official site as follows.
When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju.
On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.
Even though the concept was taken from Japanese mecha vs kaiju, I'm not entirely sure about the mecha design at the moment but maybe they were purposely designed to look retro? I'm sure the designs will grow on me when we get to see them in action.

Kiniro Mosaic
Kiniro Mosaic [きんいろモザイク] is an upcoming anime series based on the manga of the same name. The anime will be directed by Tensho [天衝] with animation production by Studio Gokumi [Studio五組] (A-Channel, Saki Zenkoku-hen). It's scheduled to start broadcasting from July this year.
Oomiya Shinobu is an everyday 15-year old girl who currently attends a Japanese all-girls high school. The one thing that makes her different is that while she was in middle school, she stayed in England for a short time with a host family. Now that she's back in Japan she often thinks back fondly of her time in England... when one day she receives an unexpected letter via airmail.
The letter is from the daughter of host family she stayed with while in England - a beautiful girl with blond hair and blue eyes named Alice Cartelet. The letter says that Alice is coming to visit Shinobu in Japan. The story focuses on the everyday school life of Shinobu, Alice and her rival childhood friend Kujou Karen, as well as Shinobu's friends Inokuma Youko and Komichi Aya.

Custom-Feature: "Sebastian Whittler - Toy Maker" by Doktor A (for "Oddfellows" at Stranger Factory / May 3 launch)

Magnificent as it is "eerie", as sometimes I wonder with the precision and splendid customs from Bruce, was he indeed a "mechanical gentleman" tooling away on the pieces? (Heh). Too Much Dollie Jigsaw Puzzle Fun!
The"dollies" just LOVE to play especially if they're doing jigsaw puzzles. They love creating their own jigsaw puzzles on their "It's Raining Doll Parties Products Gallery" and are always bugging me to create a new one so they can buy it. What's so much fun with the JigZone.com puzzles is you can change the puzzle cut for the level of challenge from easy 6 piece classic puzzles to 247 piece triangle puzzles. I personally love the 247 piece triangle puzzles as they are very challenging.
