As camera gear becomes more advanced and affordable, skate videos are becoming increasingly gorgeous. Case in point: this high concept video shot by Brett Novak featuring the talented and Rodney Mullen-esque footwork of Kilian Martin.
Want to talk about time travel? Here are two Steins;Gate figures appearing like an echo from the past!
Nendoroid Faris Nyannyan may give hope to a lot of announced, yet unreleased, figures from under the Good Smile Company banner. First announced long ago in late July 2011, the only indication we ever got that GSC planned on making this figure was a piece of art they previewed on their live stream during Wonder Festival. Fast forward nearly two years and we're finally getting to see the art come to life. It's been a long wait, but that cheerful Faris charm seems to be even more effective in Nendo form. Obviously she's still pretty early in the process despite the long wait, but I'm sure we'll see more of her very soon!
Then out of nowhere comes a preview of figma Makise Kurisu sporting her white lab coat. The previous Steins;Gate figma was also Kristina here so some fans are a little annoyed that the only two S;G figma we've gotten in two years are the same character. Before fans get excited about the prospects of this ushering in a wave of new Steins;Gate figma, you should keep in mind that the Nendoroid version of Kurisu in the lab coat was a Wonder Festival exclusive and we're fast approaching the summer version of the event. She's definitely on my want list.
2011 was a good year for Steins;Gate, but 2013 isn't looking so bad for it either.

I guess some people would say this figure is heavy on the cheese. Keiji here makes Soulcalibur's Ivy look modest by comparison, so I don't think anyone would ever accuse this figure of being tasteful.
That's not to say there isn't anything to like about this 1/8-scale Keiji Maeda. It's made by Hobby Japan and Alter, so build quality is likely going to be good. The sculpt is also very nice if you can get past her gigantic, barely-covered boobs. I really don't know how those little strips of fabric keep them in check; maybe that was a samurai skill.
This one is a Hobby Japan exclusive so there won't be a ton of places selling them online. If you have a Japanese address, you can order directly from Hobby Japan's store. Otherwise you can try your luck with the pre-order links, or use a proxy service. The regular version goes for ¥10,800. There's also a version that comes with a placemat which will cost ¥11,800. Keiji will ship around October or November this year.

Check out this amazing trailer made by Shaun Esau with the help of the fantastic M83 song “Outro”
According to his Reddit post, the video took over 3 weeks to edit. The most surprising part is that this is his first attempt. The guys over at Squad should hire this kid to do their promotional stuff.
If you haven’t checked out KSP before, watch this video and check out our previous coverage.

Good Smile Company is in the middle of an event right now (at the time of writing), and of the various reveals, we've got the absolutely stunning, now-painted Deep Sea Miku (previously seen at Winter WonFes as an unpainted prototype)! I grabbed a couple of pictures, and will keep an eye out for more. Here's hoping we get a proper preview soon!
Seriously, she's awesome.
