The Jelly Avengers Debut at MoCCA Festival 2013 by The Jelly Empire
Selina Briggs of The Jelly Empire will be exhibiting at MoCCA Festival in NYC on April 6 to 7th, and she has made a special set for the show: "The Jelly Avnegers"! Featuring a mix of Jellybots, Jellybot 2.0's, Pie and the first Jelly 4.0 release! Available via table #C90 (where she'll be sharing space with Argonaut Resins), there is no pricing revealed currently. But man do they look awesome, don't they? ASSEMBLE!

Sergey Safonov @ ToyCon UK 2013
Sergey Safonov will be heading off to ToyConUK and setting up space with his goodies at the Hang Gang booth - including exclusive colourways, new releases, collaboration piece and even prints, and of course the images of the toys shown here! Pieces that will not be sold at the event will be available at their outlet afters.
Sergey himself will be in attendance personally from 10am to 4pm with pens and gifts, so that'll be a treat to meet him face-to-face.

Despicable Me 2 POP! Vinyl
We're still several months away from the release of Despicable Me 2 (July 3rd 2013), but that hasn't stopped Funko from revealing some of their POP! vinyl figures based on the film. Woodland Trilogy - New E-Pattern From Inspired Creations By D
My sister just loves sewing, quilting, flowers, gardens, insects, and animals - like deer, elk, and even a moose. So, I shouldn't have been surprised when she designed a woodland quilt trilogy e-pattern. Of course I LOVE everything she does but I have to say that she just keeps getting better and better and better. How beautiful are they?
Here's what she had to say about her e-pattern:
My husband is an avid outdoorsman. We love nature and it's wildlife; nothing is more striking than a Bull Moose, Bull Elk or Buck Deer. I wanted to create something for him so I decided to make a trilogy with the silhouette of each animal.
WOODLAND TRILOGY is my third pattern in my trilogy series. 3 designs in 1 pattern; make one or all three. Keep one for yourself and give two as gifts or keep all three, or give all three as gifts - so many possibilities in 1 pattern!
I hope you enjoy creating "WOODLAND TRILOGY".
I love how the ones I did for my husband look hanging on our wall!

"WOODLAND TRILOGY" is 18 pages containing a digital picture of the framed fabric wall art, step-by-step digital picture instructions along with detailed written instructions for creating the frame or quilt - fabric wall art; full size pattern pieces with both forward and reverse pages for easy tracing onto iron-on transfer paper as well as instructions for creating the wood frame. Because I quilted these particular patterns for myself, I also included instructions for hanging them on a dowel, also shown on the cover. A material list is on the back of the pattern cover, which includes pictures of the fabric used to help in fabric selection.

Custom-Feature: 'The Fat Gundam' by Josh Mayhem for the "So Bad Ass It's Good" Group Show @ WonderCon 2013
PRESS: Josh Mayhem presents "The Fat Gundam" - his submission to the "So Bad Ass It's Good" show at the Beefy & Co. booth @ Wondercon 201. This custom Bad Bad Buddha has 18 points of articulation and an arm cannon featuring a working light and sounds effects. This Gundam may be a little overweight... but don't tell him that cause he can still whomp on you.

Awesome Superman statue? Looks like a job for Sideshow
Rarely do I see Superman statues that excite me. As such, just catching a glimpse of Sideshow Collectibles' rather awesome 1/4 scale Premium Format Superman is something of a treat.
The premium format Superman stands a whopping 25.5-inches tall including that crystalline (Fortress of Solitude homage) base. He features a mix of materials, including cloth-type costume which is drawn taut against his muscular frame. The statue exudes the sense of raw power that's so often missing from a character who could literally move mountains and break the sound barrier. Sure, he may be called Superman, but he seems more like a god.
If the standard version of the figure isn't enough, Sideshow Collectibles is selling an exclusive that comes with interchangeable bits for his heat vision. While I'm not sure how I feel about the actual design of the heat vision, it's certainly used to excellent effect in some of the photos.
Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format Superman is slated to release in January (presumably when a distant planet explodes) and will set you back a very super US$400. Be sure to check out the gallery for additional images.
