From Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, Bandai is releasing the S.H. Figuarts Blue and Black Overdrive Rangers. Coming as a 2-pack, each figure is about 6 inches tall and will have four sets of interchangeable hand parts with exclusive weapon accessories.

The Black Overdrive Ranger will have their Drive Hammer, and the Blue Overdrive Ranger will have their Drive Vortex. 

Releasing in September, this set will be made a Tamashii Web shop exclusive in Japan and will also be available in North America. Retail price is listed as US$74.99.

Dragon in Dream has improved greatly since they made headlines back in 2008 with their 1/6 President Obama. While most of their efforts have been devoted to the Nazis of WWII, they're finally moving on to the Allies with their rendition of the Prime Minister of the U.K., Winston Churchill. 

Just like their competitor, Hot Toys, Dragon in Dream does not skimp when it comes to details or accessories. Loaded in this package are two heads, with one allowing for a cigar, eyeglasses, a pocket watch, walking cane, extra cigars and a BBC radio microphone. The likeness to Churchill is uncanny and some of DiD's best work to date. 

I've liked DiD for some time and I'm glad to see some quality sculpts from people that aren't Hot Toys. What's better is that the price is a bit more palatable than what we've seen as the recent trend for 1/6 figures, with the DiD 1/6 Winston Churchill coming in at ¥15,048 retail. Considering everything that you're getting, not a bad price at all. If only they'd get on the ball for a FDR and Stalin so I can get a full Yalta Conference going. Mezco's 15-inch tall "Mega Scale" Chucky (of Child's Play fame) is currently available for pre-order meaning you can soon own the perfect plaything for your (future?) son or daughter.

Mezco's Chucky seems to be based on the sort of appearance first seen Bride of Chucky (in which his ex-girlfriend stitches the doll back together). The face on this one is fairly incredible, as Mezco has well-captured Chucky's adorable details which are sure to bring a smile to any kid who finds this doll in a mysterious package on their doorstep.

Chucky seems to come with a (presumably detachable) knife. Given that the blade is likely made of plastic as a cost-saving measure, you might want to switch that out to a proper metal one before giving this toy to a youngster. You know, before you leave the child alone with the doll and write off their claims about the doll coming to life as being part of a vivid imagination.

For both horror fans (and parents/uncles/aunts hoping to shape their children's lives), Mezco's 15-inch Mega Scale Chucky has an August release. Anybody here planning on giving the gift that keeps on giving nightmares?
