Transformers 4 - Nicola Peltz Named by Michael Bay As Female Lead - New Film Summary Blames Businessmen
Oh boy, there's another name added to the Transformers 4 cast. As we reported previously, Nicola Peltz was in the running for the female lead role. According to Empire magazine, she has indeed been named by Michael Bay to take the lead opposite Jack Reynor who will be playing the race car driver in the film. "The day before I flew to NYC to find an apartment, I put up my Mohawk, grabbed a bunch of Montana spray paint, and rushed downtown to paint this piece. There was a whole film crew, several cameras, and not a whole lot of time to work. Pieces of this time lapse was used in Kovas’ Ice Cream music video but I had always wanted to release print of this. I had to wait for the music video to get released and tomorrow is the day that I can finally release the print." ~shared Buff Monster.

Yosiell Lorenzo uncovers the Truth Seeker Sicklings
Yosiell Lorenzo has some new releases popping into his shop on Friday, and the first of those is his Truth Seeker Sicklings. The little guys carry around skulls and they apparently use them like conch shells. However, Yosiell says that unlike conch shells, they don't hear the ocean; they hear truths being whispered to them by something. Nature, spirits, something.
The 3-inch resin figures are limited to 15 pieces in different color patterns. Each will be hand numbered and signed inside a burlap carrying bag, and comes with a plaque that will contain their story. They're US$60 shipped (US$70 for overseas orders) in Yosiell's shop starting at 11 a.m. Pacific (2 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. GMT).
Also in his shop Friday are a set of four 5-inch-by-7-inch mini-prints featuring Sicklings of all types. They'll be US$12 (US$17 for overseas orders) in the shop.

Fly over and pre-order Akane Isshiki now!
We've had a few looks at the first upcoming Vividred figma, and sure enough, lead heroine Akane is now available to pre-order for her August release. While I don't usually dig the short twintails look, somehow Akane isn't quite so grating as many with the style, and as a big series fan I'm eager to pick her up.
Of course the real prizes will be the eventual transformed releases, but Akane makes up for the lack of awesome gear a bit with the inclusion of her fairly sizable hoverbike. Like most figma accessories, it's likely most will be able to take a ride on it, so feel free to stage your own lolified versions of grand theft auto if the mood strikes.
Other than that, Akane's fairly simple as figma go. You've got a few expression options, but it doesn't seem like much else besides the bike is included. That should still be well worth the ¥3,810 asking price, though!
