Lunartik's Doctor Who designs return for Series 2
You might remember that back in January, we posted about Lunartik's Doctor Who mini-figures, but he's not done with just one series. Spotted by SpankyStokes, Series 2 has been revealed by a Forbidden Planet pre-order, and it's centered around the Tenth Doctor.
The series will include the TARDIS, two different Tenth Doctors, Vashta Nerada, the adorable little Adipose, a Weeping Angel (don't look away from it ... ever), the Clockwork Robot, Cyber Leader, two different Daleks, Sontaran, and Davros. They'll be releasing in August, it seems, for around £7.99.

This Mahiru pre-order is a knockout
Despite its overall simplicity, Working!!'s cast continues to be crafted into pvc, this latest poseable brought to us from Art Spirits' Natural Stylies line. Like a lot of 4-koma series, Working!! doesn't exactly have a lot of effort put into the art department, resulting in a lot of simple, plain looking characters--and Mahiru here is no different.
I've made my love of school uniforms clear in the past, but even so there is a limit to the simplicity I can handle in a design. I can dig the teal coloring overall, but in general, Mahiru is the definition of plain. I'm not a fan of the shy, withdrawn look either, though I will admit the addition of her trademark punch is a nice touch.
Perhaps fans will find this character a bit more appealing, and will be eager to pick her up later this month for around ¥3,720. Any Working!! fans out there thinking I'm too harsh on the poor girl?

Tomopop Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zeronos
The 2007-8 series Kamen Rider Den-O is what started me down my path of tokusatsu. The series became my favorite, which of course led to me tracking down the figures of the time. Souchaku Henshin was the line of the era, and they were decent action figures. That line would then evolve into what we know today as S.H. Figuarts and the rest is history.
Going back to 2008, I tried my best to get the Souchaku Henshin of Kamen Rider Zeronos. He's my favorite rider, but I waited a bit too long to get into the series and I had to pay in time and extra dollars in order to get him. He left a bit to be desired, so when the SHF line started up, I knew who I wanted to get remade. It took 5 years of waiting, but after much longing, SHF Kamen Rider Zeronos is finally in my possession.
Does it live up to my expectations? Find out after the jump!

WWRp Deep Powder & Euro Defense Bramble from 3A Toys
I remember the excitement when 3A Toys released the 1/6th-scaled WWR BRAMBLE in Deep Powder (which I own, thanks to 3A) and the Euro Defense Olivier editions (which I dearly wanted but alas did not add to my collection), heralding the onslaught of the heavy-weathering paint-apps which 3A is now synonymous with … years later, 3A finally releases them again, but this time in 1/12th-scale! Currently on sale on Bambalandstore.com at US$85 each (inclusive shipping), with a 3rd quarter 2013 ship-out.
No idea how long the listing is going to last tho, so stay sharp, folks!
Andrew Bell's Can of Worms gets a con-exclusive colorway
Wondercon recently released a list of the exclusives that will be available to con-goers. One of the list's highlights for vinyl collectors is sure to be the Gray Version of Andrew Bell's delightful Can of Worms (previously covered here). The figure will be available for purchase at DeKorner's booth (number 1179) for the price of US$50 each. The Gray Version is limited to 100 pieces so if you plan on purchasing this unique piece, I'd visit the booth early in the day.
I know I am biased, being an Andrew Bell fan, but I really like the Can of Worms. I think this con-exclusive colorway really adds to the figure in manner that is hard to describe in words. Where the original colorway is more lighthearted, this one brings a somewhat subdued awareness that I appreciate.
What do you all think of the Gray Version? Are any Wondercon attendees adding this one to your shopping list?

TKLUB Number One Oroshi 18 by 3A Toys (March 28 pre-sale)
The first figure for 3A Toys' TKLUB has been revealed: OROSHI 18. On sale March 28th, Oroshi is the first of 3 TKLUB figures towards the "Art of TK" and will come packaged in an oldschool whitebox with a sticker-illustration (I actually missed this style).
The TKLUB was borne from the 3AA Membership and request from collectors for more TK-figures. Will post the final "official" word of the "KLUB" when it is announced.
Pre-order Kotobukiya's Hibiki from Idol M@ster
Fans of the animal loving Hibiki Ganaha hailing from The Idol Master will pleased that pre-orders are now available for Kotobukiya's latest sculpt of her. For those of you unfamiliar with Hibiki you can watch episode 16 of the series over at Crunchyroll which focuses heavily on her.
It looks like Kotobukiya got all of her signature details correct. From her eyes to her large hoop ear-rings, big bouncy ponytail and moe style fang they pulled off a good Hibiki. They have also added bows and ribbons on her swimsuit in just the right places without over-doing them in this sculpt. That said the icing on the cake that makes this figure more unique is the optional little hamster, aka "Hamuzo" posed atop her head.
Kotobukiya's Hibiki is not a small figure, she is built to 1/7th scale and stands at an impressive 27.5 cm tall, that would make her taller than some 1/6th scale figures that I have seen. So be sure that you know what you are getting into size wise before you order her.
For those who are interested in pre-ordering Hibiki she comes with an expected retail price of ¥ 7800 and should ship out in late August of this year.
