UK's Okkle customizes one of Cris Rose's resin robots and the result is "OKLbot113", to be made available for ToyConUK! And while price is not revealed, this was what Okkle had to share about this piece:

"This is a OKLbot model 113, they are used to search old mine shafts from remnants of precious metals with the sensors on the side of their head. When a large enough deposit is found they will lay down a small tracking device for larger mining machines to follow later. OKLbots are also useful for finding potential dangers and pitfalls as they're relatively cheap and easy to produce and fix."

And the scaffolding has arrived for the "wall mural" happening for "The Rojak Rendezvous" (above pic by ANTZ) with this feature wall situated at the back of The Substation. And while yesterday I posted wall-white-washing pics (yes, possibly not as exciting for you thrill-nuts lol), BUT today's images includes Clogtwo's character started/seen at wall-left (dude painted it last night by streel-light), and the exciting stenciling to come from KA'a!

Maaan, what Mathieu holds in his hand is GOLD! Festivities begin from 2+pm ... Check out further event updates on the event's Facebook-page, while I try to gather my wits to bring you folks some on-site images later in the day (Don't-Rain-Don't-Rain-DUN-RAIN).

So is this a look at Brandt Peters + Kathie Olivas' "WANDERING MISFITS" series with Cardboard Spaceship, in color? I asked this question because I do not have an answer for it, but tis okay, Im gleefully looking at and anticipating whatever it is anyways :p

Tentatively scheduled for a 2013-release is this new blind box mini series featuring sculpts by Shinbone Creative.

Once in a while, I'd like to taunt you folks, to tease you with goodness that has since been sold out .. tis not because I am embracing the sadistic side of me (not exactly, no…), but perhaps I want to share my pain and agony with you, for missing on an item or two myself … one such item this LEON poster from Godmachine, which has since sold out of it's 200 editions. What is also awesome, is that this 24”x14” 3 colour screen print poster was officially licensed and approved by Luc Besson too … so pass me a tissue for my tears, please?

MATHILDA: "Leon, what exactly do you do for a living?" … back when she was still awesome, before the face-caked "Amidala" dealt a death-blow, IMHO ;p

Having seen images posted online from happy customers, I found myself waiting at home in anticipation of receiving my 1/12th-scaled MONGROL - to my personal mistake, simply because waiting for a 3A Toy to arrive is such agony! Better to let the doorbell ring, and let the postman surprise you instead, IMHO. Pre-orders was in mid-June last year, 2012, priced at US$55 each (sans shipping costs). A Black-Hole Edition in this scale was also offered.


Nevertheless, MONGROL was a hoot and I really like this piece! And while I have the Black Hole Edition in 1/6th-scale (arm since popped out, sadness is my toy-loving-heart), this seems a more manageable scale, and if the entire A.B.C. Warriors were to be released in 1/12th, I really wouldn't mind either - would save me hella cash, innit? Check out more snaps posted HERE on my Facebook album!

The longest plastic toy train track recorded was measured at 9,475 ft. It as assembled by the Thomas & Friends Team in China on November 24, 2012. It took 4hr 59m 58sec for the toy train to finish the track. Approximately 13,769 pieces of plastic train tracks were used.
