GSC's exclusive Tenshi winging her way to collectors soon
With GSC's second version of Tenshi from Angel Beats! due to ship to customers soon, Asahiwa has put up some shots of the final production version and I have to say she's looking as stunning as ever! Compared to the original preview it seems like GSC have added even more detail to her amazing wings and sharpened up the paint job. The only duff note is that horrible sandy beige base, which is utterly out of place against the pale palette of the rest of the figure.
More interestingly, the large seam lines on her dress which marred the prototype have vanished without trace. The reason for these was that the original design was actual cast-offable, something which seemed out of place for both the character and GSC's figures in general. Speculation seems to be that the feature has been removed altogether, which would be an interesting design decision, albeit an unfortunate one for those who bought the figure on that promise.
Those of you who were lucky enough to snag orders during the exclusive period should be receiving shipping notifications very soon. I'm excited for mine to arrive, although I think I'll be spending some time with a white spraycan and that base before she goes on display.

This Limited Edition Sakura Haruno is a thing of beauty
Unpopular opinion time--I actually enjoy Naruto, and I think it gets a lot of bad rap just for being a fairly standard shonen series. Fortunately there are those that give it due recognition, like Tsume releasing this "Undefective Bonds" version of heroine Sakura this August.
It's a shame she's limited to only 600 pieces, because this is a piece that definitely deserves to be in everyone's collection. Standing on a defeated pile of Sasori's puppets, it conveys the strength that Sakura's got when she puts her mind to it. It goes without saying that the quality is top notch, and is certainly worth the asking price of €279. Act fast and get your order in while she's still around!

[NSFW] Pick up this pair of cuties by Okama
The latest in the Masterpiece line is now available to pre-order, Okama's lovely but awkwardly named Skipping Maid-san. There's some variety in the pair, with a darker limited edition version if the default is just a little too cheery and perky for your tastes. Plus, unlike many variations that are simply palette swaps, the limited version comes with an entirely different hairstyle as well.
Personally, I love the darker outfit, but the default's gorgeously wild and brightly colored hair has me sold on the spot. It fits her upbeat expression well, and I'd love to see the two swapped and have her lend a splash of color to the limited version.
I do find the choice of storage for her alternate tops a bit odd, to say the least, but it's not as if one has to leave them in place. Whichever your tastes, both girls will be available in June for about ¥7,800.
