Here's a quick post to share some fun pics sent in to us by some awesome Bat-Blog Fans. They're pics of some new batman items you can find in stores but there's one catch. The 1st item (up above), is a super-cool BATMAN Book Mark Set for Books, those are only sold in the UK. I love the vintage retro-style graphics!

Then, the next set of photos show some fun BATMAN Tank Top Shirts for Kids that they sold at Toys-R-Us ( in the USA ). Thanks to everybody who sent us these awesome pics, we always appreciate that... a lot!

Takara Tomy isn't wasting much time here. First they release a few pictures to tease us, then pre-orders start rolling in. They also come with a nice new gallery including comparison shots with the previously released Optimus Prime and Sideswipe. They're currently scheduled for an August release at ¥5,800 each. If you want them and want to get in on the best prices you'll want to act fast, they're already selling out at some stores!

Well, here's the new winner for best alicorn: Pinkie Pie! This plushie actually made me laugh. She's so adorable with the horn and wings strapped to her. Golden Harvest got a couple of plushies this time around, which I'm not sure I'd seen before. Lightning Dust also looks pretty awesome!

Vinyl Scratch looks pretty sweet this go around, and there's even a hoodie version of her. Even though there happens to be a Rarity, I think one of my actual favorite plushies this round is the laying down Scootaloo. She looks so cute on her cloud I can't stand not to hug her! Check out Equestria Daily for the rest of the plushies and to learn more about the individual artists.

I was thrilled when I was invited to hop down the virtual bunny trail with Hershey’s. I was able to customize an adorable Easter basket and have it delivered to my house. I picked pink accents and filled it with some of our favorite Hershey’s treats. Hosted on CelebrateWithHersheys.com - a destination for everything Easter – the HERSHEY’S Bunny... [Continue Reading]

If you're a fan of Blade Runner, then what you see above might be of interest to you. It is the Tomenosuke Blaster Pro, made by Japan's Tomenosuke-Syoten, and it's a model kit that basically is a replica of Deckard's gun from the film. Except, for licensing reasons of course, it's not. You do have to assemble it, too, so keep that in mind, but it looks pretty sweet, from the box art (by Jakob Staermose) to the fine details on the kit's body.

Sadly, since these were limited to a run of 300, they're sold out, even at a price of US$550 each. The first 200 folks also received additional parts to recreate the police version of the weapon, and if you're sad you missed the ordering window for this weapon, don't worry; with four versions already done, there may be another in the future.

Not long ago the name Transformers Go! first appeared among Japanese sources. Initial reaction across many sites was that this would be the title of the Japanese version of Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters and this made sense as Takara Tomy and Hasbro both have a history of changing show titles. Magazine scans also included a pictures of Beast Hunter figures mixed with some blacked out images, but the numbering system started with G11 rather than G01. Now we've got our first wave toy listings from various import stores and the names don't jive with what we've seen out of Beast Hunters

Four figures are in the initial listing and they're all very uniquely Japanese named, something you don't see often anymore.

    • GO1 Kenzan Samurai (police car)
    • GO2 Jinbu Samurai (jet)
    • GO3 Ganoh Samurai (fire truck)
    • GO4 Gaidora

Samurai, eh? That certainly is in contrast to the barbarian look of Beast Hunter. Further information also says that those first three figures can be combined to make three different robot combinations. Could be that Takara Tomy plans to heavily pad the line, maybe even reboot it as an all new series. They've done stuff like that before on a smaller scale, so has Hasbro, so it wouldn't be entirely out of question.

It's a mystery, but you can be sure we'll have more info as it arrives. Store listings are saying these should be hitting around June so we shouldn't be waiting too long.

We've received initial information from BBTS on the Transformers GO! Line. This will be the Japanese release of Beast Hunters. We can confirm that the first 3 figures do have some sort of combining function. Additionally, Falcon's Hanger have shared some images that also support the combiner information. Unfortunately, they are just shilloette images of the figure. Look for these toys to be out in June. Get your pre-orders in now at bigbadtoystore.com. Check out the images below for more details.

In recent post on the The Hollywood Reporter on Josh Duhamel's new movie "Scenic Route." The Transformers movie veteran mentioned that Michael Bay has already let him know that he would like to include the actor in the in Transformers 4 movie "someplace." Its not confirmed or anything if this is a return as Major William Lennox or some other role.

Thanks to a video posted by Atamaiidot.com from of Toy Fair 2013 of the Metroplex action figure, it has been discovered there is a shot of the included Scamper figure at 3:28 on the side of the box. As expected the new Scamper Legends class toy has been given the Generation makeover that brings the basic Generation 1 toy back with an updated design. Judging from the new Cyberverse figures we are seeing, this little guy should be a pretty cool offering. Check out the video review and still image below.

    Life-Size Princess Zelda Papercraft

This is a real life-size Princess Zelda papercraft that stands at 170cm (around 67 inches (5’6” ish)), built by a DeviantART user who devoted a lot of time, minidelirium. The original craft was created by PaperJuke here. Feel free to download it if you want to spend a lifetime trying to impress your other gamer friends.

    According to minidelirium’s DA post:

the cutting took 88h and the folding and building took 138h. I made a big mistake in the beginning and printed her on 120g paper, so I had to do it all over again in 160g and 200g paper. I’m very satisfied with the result and look forward to giving her to a distant friend. she is about 170cm tall.

That’s a lot of paper and a lot of time.

The last generations of My Little Pony had board game opportunities, so why not Friendship Is Magic? Coming this July you'll be able to get your hooves on both a My Little Pony edition of Monopoly and a new My Little Pony Memory game, both using the current generation of ponies. In ToyWiz's image, if that's the final product, it looks like the Monopoly pieces will be of the Mane Six, which is only fitting.

You can pre-order the My Little Pony Monopoly at ToyWiz for US$39.99, but the pre-orders are sold out already on BBTS. However, you can pre-order the Memory game on both ToyWiz and BBTS for US$17.99. My Little Pony News also showed an image of an MLP version of Trouble, so I can't wait to see if that goes up for pre-order soon as well! Though on a side note, I totally want the Paint & Style Pony, and the Fuzzy-Felt Kit that MLP Arena has shown as well. So much fun stuff!

    Bryan-Collins-Elephant-Munny
"So far, this is the most sculpting I've done on a custom figure. My kids had been watching Dumbo while I was brainstorming ideas for a Mini-Munny and I was inspired by the pink elephants scene in that film."
Made by Bryan Collins / Color Chemist - you can now purchase 'The Pink Elephant' here for US$185.

    ULTRON-ON-THRONE-REGULAR-01
    ULTRON-ON-THRONE-REGULAR-02

I have zero desires for collecting statues. Thru the years, I have witness sculpts both evocative and awesome, but have never really held my attention, until I saw this CLASSIC ULTRON ON THRONE from Sideshow Toys. I've always liked the concept of Ultron and it's simple body-form depicted here is a swell visual representation of my personal memory of this "robot-done-direly-bad" (and a somewhat "George Perez"-aesthetic lol).

This 13.5-inch tall Polystone Statue is purchasable here for US$349.99 (for a July 2013 ship), with the Sideshow Exclusive Edition Comiquette (shown below) coming along with an interchangeable Right Hand holding Vision's head. The "regular" edition sees Ultron holding Ant-Man's helmet.

And while I can hardly afford this piece, it does not mean I don't love it :)

    FIRE-EMBLEM-SHFIGUARTS_02

Just when I thought there were to be no more action figures from "Tiger and Bunny" to be released from S.H.Figuarts, comes the FIRE EMBLEM, with a July 201 release schedule! And while I am not a huge fan of Fire Emblem (Love his car tho! Now THAT should be made into a model car for sale!), I have since embarked on collecting the entire line-up of sponsored heroes, an can only hope Bandai will add BLUE ROSE and DRAGON KID to this line-up, and soon!

There's actually quite a number of release to collect .. but I'm sticking with their "Superhero"-guise for now … now about that model car…
