Haganai's Sena and Yozora ramp up the cuteness
I feel like getting one's hands on any Haganai related figure needs accompanied by the Super Cool Ski Instructor meme. These girls go out of stock faster than I've seen from just about any series, and to be honest I wish the series wasn't quite so popular so I'd actually stand a fighting chance. If you're in the same boat, you might want to take solace in this pair of cuties from Phat Company, arriving in August.
With a super cheap asking price of just ¥1,860, they're an adorably affordable consolation prize for anyone who's missed out on the real deal time and time again. Sena is particularly hnnng-worthy, with a heart-melting blush and smile and very appealing softer-toned paint job--though the tsundere-as-ever Yozora is certainly no slouch in the attractiveness department. Definitely worth looking into for any series fan!

MLP Design-a-Pony Luna and Masquerade ponies pre-order
I'm not going to lie, I kind of adore the Design-a-Pony figures for some reason. I have both Dashie and Fluttershy, but I've not done anything with them. I just like them they way they are, even if they are unfinished. Now you can get your hands on Luna, which looks equally as cool, but she's Luna. She's always awesome. She should be arriving to stores either later this month, or early April.
The second round of pre-orders are the Masquerade ponies from the Crystal Empire line. The only one that's a new pony is Sunset Shimmer, who I love. Then again, of course I do, she's a Rarity knock-off. Speaking of her, Rarity is also in the line along with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. They each come with Masquerade masks, which actually looks a bit like Mexican wrestler masks if you ask me. They should all be releasing around the same time as Luna.
Sadly, ToyWiz is the only store selling Design-a-Pony Luna individually that I've seen, which is US$21.99. Both Entertainment Earth and BBTS are selling cases of them however, at US$59.99 and it comes with 3 Luna and 1 Rainbow Dash, so if you're looking to team up with a friend, or need more than one, this is actually the route to go. The Masquerade ponies you can buy through BBTS for US$19.99 for the set of 4, or through ToyWiz where you can buy them individually at US$6.99.

Japan Hay Fever
Japan's 4 seasons are beautiful and distinct. And then there is the 5th season - Hay Fever Season. This is the worst time to be in Japan for hay fever sufferers. I didn't suffer from hay fever while I was in the UK - then I came over and discovered they got a lovely breed of tree called Sugi [杉] or "Japanese Cedar" - this culprit really does me in!
Pictured here is my new restock of yogurt and honey which is said to be good at reducing the effects of hay fever. Not exactly sure what they do but they seem to help a bit every year ToT

The hay fever readings are nearly off the charts! Due to the boiling hot Summer that we had last year, the pollen levels are about 70% higher than average. Probably the most unproductive season for me as I'm sneezing with a drizzling nose and itchy eyes all day ><

My wife is a hay fever suffer too and she got some other device - the front of it reminds me of the Vic Viper - well kind of ^^;
Wherever you go in Japan, you will see an increased amount of surgical mask usage due to the pollen levels.
When foreigners are in Japan, they stare at the surgical masks but when I wear this Respro I get stared at ^^;
Maybe its because of my hentai eyes.
If you prefer to show you love for anime then you can always go for an Ita-mask. Dont forget the hentai eyes.

Erick Scarecrow and co. will be releasing two new toys tomorrow. The Clear Blueberry Mini Soopa continues the series of handmade resin arcade cabinet toys. The color is making me crave some blue Kool-Aide. The 6.5” Pinnola has a killer color scheme. Per the usual, this one’s hand painted, signed, numbered, and packed by Erick himself. They’re limited to five pieces and run $225.
