Here's a quick post to show-off this "Toy Prototype Photo" that NECA recently shared. This photo shows what the weapons and accessories for their "Michael Keaton BATMAN MOVIE" Figure is going to look like. Well, they will probably be black but you get the idea. The detailing is extremely nice.

OK, Not Chip Kidd's entire collection... but a few choice pieces. Right now, as we speak, Hake’s Americana and Collectibles is auctioning off eight really cool and super-rare Vintage Batman Toys for your bidding pleasure. The items include Original Animation Cels, Adam West Autographed items, and much more.

Here are some pics of my two favorite items. The 1st one we're talking about is a RARE 1966 BATMAN Swimming Pool Float Toy. The graphics are really great & I love the shape of this thing. It's just such a cool display piece.

Then, for the BAT-MANGA FANS, here is a 1960's Japanese BATMAN AND ROBIN Record with Sleeve from Japan! I don't even have to mention how great these graphics are. This is GREAT stuff!!

Conan O’Brien Plays Tomb Raider

Clueless Gamer is a segment on Conan O’Brien’s television show in which Conan reviews up-and-coming video games for comedic purposes. There’s no other reason, since at the beginning of every single Clueless Gamer segment, Conan states that he doesn’t like video games, nor is he interested in them. This probably infuriates some folks since Conan ends up playing a lot of games weeks ahead of time.

Recently though, Conan played Square-Enix’ upcoming Tomb Raiderreboot. Conan’s review of the video game is nothing short of hilarious. Watch Conan struggle with river rapids and make pervy jokes on his official site, here.

Pre-order AlphaMax's Black Bunny

When I first started watching "Problem Children are Coming from Another World aren't they?" over at Crunchyroll I was 100% sure that the bunny girl "Black Rabbit" would be made into a figurine. I just didn't know for sure which company would make her. Seems like AlphaMax decided to take a break from swimsuit figures to sculpt this bunny-lady.

I'm glad that AlphaMax tried to capture her mid-jump with her ears swept back. They showed a good amount of motion with the hair and skirt and legs, but something seems off to me about her face sculpt. It's not bad, but I think that her bangs should be moving a little bit more mid-hop and that her mouth should look a little different. Still fans of the show should want to pick her up regardless, but besides that she does make for a good bunny girl.

AlphaMax has a perfectly good excuse to make two different color versions of this lady. Her hair tends to change color sometimes in the show, usually it turns pink when she uses some of her magic powers. Personally I like the color balance of her whole figure better with blue hair than pink hair, but I can see the appeal of a pink haired bunny girl.

Those who are interested in AlphaMax's Black Rabbit will have to wait a little while as she will not be released until late August of this year. Her expected retail price is about ¥7800 but as usual you can expect to find her for less from our favorite Japanese import retailers.

This is possibly the coolest Charizard plush ever

This has been quite the week for Pokemon fans. First, with Bandai's release of D-Arts Blastoise plus the reveal of their D-Arts Venusaur and now, an absolutely amazing Charizard plush (made by the good folks of TakaraTomy) has been spotted for purchase over at HobbyLink Japan. What with all these good Pokévibes, there has to be a downside, right? Well, there sort of is. But only mildly. You can in fact order this hardcore Charizard plush but it's on back-order with a wait of somewhere between 4 to 6 weeks.

Quite honestly though, the wait seems like a small price to pay (well, plus the actual ¥3800 price tag) for the opportunity to hug a Charizard. The thing is 28 and half centimeters by 29 centimeters by 16 and a half centimeters, so it's got some heft to it. And, look at that tail! It is a different fabric texture than the rest of the body. I love love love that! This Charizard plush was released in February 2013.

Photos from Culture Japan Night Bangkok which took place on January 12th 2013. Was my first time in Thailand and was absolutely delighted to discover that there were so many supporters of the Culture Japan brand. Thanks to Akibatan for setting everything up and thanks to all who came!

CJ Night took place at Ariston Hotel where some nomalicious food was served next to our own swimming pool ^^; Was great to also meet the many figure.fm users who brought along their lovely dolly daughters.
It was at CJ Night Bangkok where I first talked about my Mirai-chan doll. I'll be back later in the year to show everybody what the completed product looks like ^^

All photo posts from this visit to Thailand are listed up below.
