We've had a look at what Chris Ryniak has to offer for fans/folks at the 2-person show MIGRATION slated to launch March 1st at Stranger Factory not too long ago, now here's a glimpse at what deliciousness to expect from Amanda Louise Spayd!


Of particular interest is the above collaboration with Ryniak (interview with them on CircusPosterus.com) with the egg-carrying critter dubbed "Gallivant" … and the new "Trinity of cold-cast metal wall plaques" (below) is also another interesting offering, as all these sees her craft going beyond her soft-fabric products from before, IMHO.

Here's a picture of Robert Downey Jr as "Tony Stark", with his Arc Reactor on his chest (damn but is that a nice tee too!) … now check out the 1/6th-version of Tony (below) WITH lit-up LED embedded in it's chest!

Inserted by hand into the 12-inch Hitfigure body type, "similar to HT Wolverine body compatible all HT body joints" - it is currently available at Forty42 for SGD$180 per piece (include shipping worldwide. Payment via Paypal), and local pickups at their store in China Square Central is SGD$170 per piece. Would look pretty darn awesome with the "Tony Stark" casual tee and pants set (seen in 'The Avengers') released not too long ago tho!

This is quite adorable! Check out this TIGER MUNNY by Mone86, done on a mini munny, for which you can check out more imagery here on Facebook, including work-in-progress snaps. I feel Mone achieves a certain type of unique quality with his animal-themed sculpts (remember his Pandaren I featured earlier?) and hope to see more of his custom-menagerie.

PRESS: "Monsters from the Island" is a group neo-kaiju and sofubi exhibition curated by Monster Island NYC. The opening will take place on March 9th, 2013 with a reception from 6-9PM at The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main Street, Beacon, NY 12508.

Comprised of artists working primarily in sofubi and resin, the participating artists include: BLObPUS, Blurble, Bob Conge / Plaseebo, Brian Flynn, Buff Monster, Bwana Spoons, Dski One, Few Many, FigLab, Goccodo, Guumon, Healeymade, Ilanena, Josh Herbolsheimer, Konatsu, L'amour Supreme, Leecifer, Mark Nagata, Mechavirus, Monsterarm, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore, NagNagNag, PaulKaiju, Rampage Toys, Splurrt, Star Case, Toxic Creep, Uamou and Velocitron.

Several of the artists will be in attendance including a special U.S. appearance by SHIGERU (NagNagNag!). The pieces will remain on display in the gallery space until April 6th, 2013.'
