This Mirai is ready for a new home
When I think of Griffon, I don't really think of castoffable figures. Perhaps some have slipped under my radar or I'm simply blocking it out, but whatever the case, Senran Kagura's Mirai seems to be just that. Apparently Griffon is making sure people are aware that not every Senran girl is equipped with her own flotation devices, in the most blatant way possible.
Weird loli-stripping aside, I do like the look of the figure in general. She certainly applies to my love of goth-loli style, and for the size I like the little details like the cat on her anklet. I'm still not a fan of the eyepatch look, but at least it's not a medical one, so points to the designer there. I think if one ignores the castoffable nature, she might certainly be worth the ¥7,800 when she arrives in April.

The Cheekiest Nintendo Figure Of Them All
This is Tharja from the recently released (and still pretty hard to find) Fire Emblem: Awakening for 3DS. She knows dark magic spells, is the best character in the game (fight me!), has cute bangs, and she also knows how to back that thang up like a true professional.
It seems like she’s quickly replacing Zero Suit Samus as Nintendo’s most sexily designed female character. The general consensus seems to be a mix of surprise and praise that Nintendo would let such a racy figure of one of their characters be produced. People are so excited that they’re even PhotoShopping the picture of the unpainted prototype!
I kind of wouldn’t be surprised if Nintendo made Max Factory change the final design at the last minute to be more family friendly, but I really hope they leave it as is because I’m a huge pervert who enjoys tasteless things.

tokidoki x Karl Lagerfeld: Mr. Black, St Germain Edition
Karl Lagerfeld, the King of Chanel, is opening the first Karl Lagerfeld concept store and he's making a wonderful return to the vinyl world. tokidoki has previously made a Karl figure (that I absolutely adore), but this is the near 10 inch Mr. Black, St Germain Edition that is limited to the specific concept store in Paris.
He will be limited to 150 pieces when released on March 1st, 2013 at 194 Boulevard St Germain. They will be individually numbered and come complete with a certificate of authenticity. They will cost you €149, so hurry up and get saving if you love this fashion icon like I do. You can get more information from tokidoki on how to get your hands on him.

Bunny in the buff: Dolly Oblong's resin Baldwin released
Who wouldn't want a cute naked bunny? Meet Dolly Oblong's Baldwin, also known as Noodie or it's scientific name, Bunolagus Ficus Noodicus. This startled looking bunny comes with a green leaf placed nicely to cover his privates. His backside is a little more exposed, showing off his pink cheeks for all the world to see. He is said to only be found in Bob Ross like landscapes near Shropshire, England. So his existence is rare indeed.
Previously only made in plush and paper form, this is the first time Baldwin is available in resin. This is also the first Dolly Oblong toy handmade by German artist Muffinman. Standing at 3 inches tall, Baldwin is a limited edition that comes in a handmade signed and numbered box. Only 20 are available at €35 in Dolly's shop.

Disney brings new Haunted Mansion merchandise your way
Anyone else out there a big fan of the Haunted Mansion ride at the Disney Parks? I know there's gotta be at least a few of you out there, so let's check out these new bits of merchandise, shall we? One of my favorite pieces is the hourglass, which stands 7.5 inches tall. It has awesome gargoyles from the stretching room on it, with purple sand to keep track of the hour. There's also a candelabra that features the gargoyles as well.
The 5 in. by 7 in. frame is pretty neat as well, but I really love the music box. It looks like Madame Leota's tombstone and plays 'Grim Grinning Ghosts'. The coaster set is adorable and are the epitaphs from the graves outside the ride. There's also a bat bottle stopper, as well as a pillow and throw set, that I'd totally love to have, that are colored in purple and black that look like the wallpaper in the ride.
Lastly there is a 'Room For One More' candy dish that is totally adorable, as well as awesome tarot card-like hangtags that look like Madame Leota's cards. There's writing on them that sounds like she would talk, especially with bits that describe things inside the attraction. These can be found at different shops in the Disney Parks, but will eventually be available online at the Disney Store.
