When I see this Hibari figure, I think she looks like the world's least flexible girl trying to stretch her legs out. I also think the lack of cast-off was a real missed opportunity here.

In case you were wondering, this figure belongs in CM's Corporation's Gutto-kuru La Beaute line. Hibari also belongs in the weird eyes club, but cross-shaped pupils? Come on, don't bite off Nia like that.

She's up for pre-order now for ¥8,800 and will be out in May.

Satoshi Urushihara is bringing his unique style to CM's Corporation's Gutto-kuru Sweet figure line. That's really what it's called, "Sweet." Which is sweet. Unlike La Beaute, this flavor of Gutto-kuru figures is more aimed at adults, hence the cast-off options.

The character, Rumi Sumida, is an Urushihara original design that was featured on a magazine cover. She is thoroughly Urushihara, isn't she? She's got the Urushihara face and I'm sure some Urushihara boobs under that shirt. Let's see how many more times I can write Urushihara in this paragraph. Urushihara!

She's up for pre-order now for ¥9,800. It's kind of a lot to pay for a figure that isn't exactly enormous at 210mm in height. If you want more Satoshi Urushihara girls in your life, though, I don't really know where else you can get them. She'll be out in May.

Medicom's RAH "Fate/Zero" armored Saber is currently available for pre-order. This gorgeous Fate/Zero figure (or doll?) stands 300mm tall and will come with a summoning circle as a limited production run bonus.

Saber features three faces, alternate hair bits, alternate sword sword bits, and removable armor (for a non-armored dress look). The work on the head-sculpting seems superb and I like the look of the outfit. The alternate bits offer a fair deal of customization which should translate into a myriad of display options although, I suppose, most will either involve standing or leaping sword attacks.

It's no secret that I'm a Saber fan and it's probably no secret that I feel Medicom has done some pretty solid work with their RAH Saber. For those who feel at least as strongly, Medicom's RAH Saber is due out in late September.

Devil Survivor 2 the Animation [デビルサバイバー2] is an upcoming anime based on ATLUS's Nintendo DS game of the same name. The anime is being directed by Kishi Seiji [岸誠二] (Persona 4 The Animation, Carnival Phantasm) with animation production by Bridge [株式会社ブリッジHP] (Mitsudomoe, Valkyria Chronicles 3: Unrecorded Chronicles).

Devil Survivor 2 the Animation will begin airing in April 2013.

Without warning, Japan has come under attack by mysterious invaders known as the Septentriones. Kuze Hibiki and twelve others each with their own unique personalities end up forming pacts with demons, making them the '13 Devil Summoners' - people who can call forth demons to provide them with the power to fight against the mysterious Septentriones.

But the world is set to end in just seven days, and the future now lies entirely with the choices of these 13 Devil Summoners!

Valvrave the Liberator [革命機ヴァルヴレイヴ] is an upcoming original anime directed by Matsuo Kou [松尾衡] (Rozen Maiden, Yozakura Quartet) with animation production by Sunrise [株式会社サンライズ] (Tiger & Bunny, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn).

Valvrave the Liberator will begin airing on Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS), Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS), Chubu-Nippon Broadcasting Communication (CBC) and BS-i in April 2013.

The future has come with the development of space cities known as 'Dyson Spheres', which have allowed over 70% of mankind to live out in space. At the same time, the world has been separated into two major powers known as the Dorushia Military Alliance and the Atlantic Ring United States (ARUS).

In this future there exists a small nation known as Diol, which has remained neutral with both the major powers, allowing it to have a prosperous economy as well as retaining peace. Tokishima Haruto is a high school student who lives in Module 77 of the Diol Sphere where he has a fairly peaceful life - but that changes very quickly when the Dorushia army suddenly invades his home!

However, Haruto then encounters the mysterious humanoid-shaped weapon known as 'Valvrave'...

Q-Six's Suzune will make you want to come to the doctor

Q-Six's Suzune is now available for pre-order. Suzune, star of the manga Kisei Jūi Suzune (which apparently was adapted as a live-action film), is a scantily clad doctor who fights against parasites that increase their hosts' power and libido (although buffing the libido is probably responsible for any other power increase). In short, it just landed on my queue.

Suzune is available in either a black outfit or a red one. I prefer the slightly more tasteful black outfit (well, relatively tasteful...) because it looks a little more professional (she IS a doctor, after all!). Both versions feature the same attractive head-sculpt and, well, everything else.

Despite being an arguably tacky figure, I feel that there's a certain amount of fun to this one just given the source material. Plus, in some odd way, there's a sense of realism here in that after one look at your outfit you're probably wondering how those things stay in at all. For those who need an examination, Q-Six's Suzune is due out in June.

Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko [変態王子と笑わない猫] is an upcoming light novel adaptation directed by Suzuki Youhei [鈴木洋平] (Toradora!, Little Busters!) with animation production by J.C. Staff (Little Busters!, Bakuman).
Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko will begin air on Tokyo MX, April 2013.

Yōto Yokodera is a second year High School student who is arguably the biggest pervert at school. His problem is that he is not good at showing his real emotions. One day, his equally perverted best friend completely transforms and gets rid of his “impure thoughts”; a feat he attributes to the power of the statue of "warawanai neko" (the cat that won’t laugh).
As the rumors suggest, wishing upon the statue and giving an offering(eg. stuffed animal, etc.) you can wish to remove a personality trait from yourself that you do not wish to have anymore. What they do not realize at the time is that it will remove the unwanted trait and give it upon to someone who does need it. As he’s making his offering to the statue, a girl (Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi) arrives at the same place. Tsukiko also hearing of the rumors of the warawanai neko, was there to make her wish. She wishes to be able to be more like an adult and not show her emotions so easily.

Both of them wish upon the warawanai neko and to their surprise the next day at school, Yōto is unable to tell a single lie, and Tsukiko is unable to show any sign of emotion whatsoever (aka kūdere). After realizing that they do not like the change that happened, they work together to try and find out who has received their trait that was taken away in order to get it back, bringing in another character into the mix, Azusa Azuki.

An ojōsama type girl who is the most beautiful first year that has just transferred. She is always being confessed to by many boys in school, the odd thing is that she has no friends and is always alone. Yōto finds out that Azusa is the one that received his unwanted trait and that is where the love triangle and plethora of problems begins.

Hataraku Maou-sama! [はたらく魔王さま!] is an upcoming anime series based on Satoshi Wagahara's light novel series. The anime adaption will be directed by Hosada Naoto [細田直人] (Mirai Nikki, Koe de Oshigoto!) with animation production by White Fox [ホワイトフォックス] (Katanagatari, Jormungand).

Hataraku Maou-sama! will premiere on Tokyo MX in April 2013.

The Demon King Sadao is just one step away from conquering the world of Ente-Isla when he is defeated by a hero and instead sent into modern day Tokyo. There he is forced to pick up part time jobs as his skills in conquering the world just don't seem to be paying the bills. It also seems that the Hero Emilia has come to Japan in an attempt to track down the Demon King, but instead she ends up becoming a company employee.

Sadao and Emilia both seem to be living relatively normal lives in Tokyo now, but that's sure to change if they ever happen to come across each other...
