NECA/WIZKIDS ANNOUNCE NEW PUZZLE STRATEGY GAME, CONNECT WITH PIECES™
It's time to duel, with the Cu-poche Dark Magician Girl
With the series as popular as ever, it's no surprise Kotobukiya's added Yu-gi-oh's famous mascot-of-sorts Dark Magician Girl to its adorable Cu-poche line. It's great to see, and I wish Cu-poche got a bit more exposure and notice, as I'm a big fan of them compared to the similarly chibi-sized Nendoroids.
Dark Magician Girl is, as you can see, surprisingly poseable for such a tiny thing, and you can place her in a number of appropriate positions. You'll find no shortage of accessories either, as you can switch out her expressions and pose her with a magic tome, her trademark wand, and even a tiny heart icon to accompany a cute wink or kiss.
DMG will be available this July for about ¥3,800, so order now if you don't want sent to the shadow realm!

figma blog snags a Fate Testarossa to preview
Good news for Fate Testarossa fans: her Lightning version figma is shipping soon! This little lady, who looks like she'd be at home in a Soulcalibur game, will be out February 9. The figma blog has a short preview of what you'll be getting.
There really isn't anything crazy, just a jointed cape and twin tails along with her weapon. I personally did not throw my funds at this one, but it's not like the Nanoha franchise lacks fans. If you like what you see here, head on over to the figma blog for, like, a couple more photos.

Great art from Nick McLean. Could you imagine a Gundam MMO similar to that of Star Wars Galaxies where the factions actually mattered? A guy can dream.
All I know is we need more Gundam stuff in the East.

Gift trots out a new Sonico for WonFes
You know what's rare? A Sonico figure where she's just getting on with her life, doing Sonico things. That's basically what Gift's newest Sonico is all about. Their last Sonico figure had her tied up to a bed with legs spread, so I'll say this one is somewhat less fetishistic.
There isn't much info yet, other than that she'll be on display at WonFes. She's carrying a guitar case and her parka will make her look like a tiger. However parkas always make me think of South Park, so here's hoping Sonico doesn't repeatedly die gruesome deaths. Otherwise the figure looks pretty cute, though it's not something that holds my interest. What do you think, Tomopeeps?

110th American International Toy Fair Brings 150,000 Toys and Games to New York City
[NSFW] This latest Fault!! figure goes all in
We've seen some rather racy Fault!! figures before, but compared a lot of trashy designs they managed to pull the style off thanks in no small part to the lovely artwork of designer Tony Taka. The lineup is apparently quite a hit, as Alphamax is ready to serve another on offering, the lovely Maya Kamiwazumi.
They've amped up the cheesecake with this one, setting her in a much more blatant pose than the others. She's quite castoffable as well, giving you a look at the whole package--as if she was hiding anything to begin with! Still, Tony's art manages to make this stand above the rest, and clothed or unclothed you could do much worse if you're looking for a naughtier figure for your collection.
She's certainly crafted with a level of quality that is often foregone for the sake of making things as over the top as possible, and I can definitely appreciate that. Quality doesn't come cheap though, so get ready to fork over ¥9,800 for her July release.
