Gorgeous iPhone Cases Made of Paper

It is rare to find really amazing art that is meant to be a functional piece of daily technology. These iPhone cases from Twig Case Co. are just that.

The cases are indeed made from paper. Well, technically it is called Richlite. Made from trees from Sweden and Brazil. These are the first cases to use Richlite and it is extremely strong. It is also extremely efficient in production.

For those objecting due to forestry or unsustainability concerns, rest easy. Each case is FSC and Rainforest Alliance certified, meaning that
the process is utilizing the responsible management of our planet’s wooden resources. The FSC is a non-profit organization that was created to stop the irresponsible foresting of the rainforest and other endangered areas.

For those looking for a unique and high-quality iPhone case, the choice is clear. These Twig Co. cases well designed and will last you beyond the life of the iPhone.

I know i am picking one up soon.

Hot Toys shows off their next Iron Man figure screenshot

We're up to Mark XLII now on Iron Man armors? Tony Stark is a busy man indeed. What you're looking at is Hot Toys' quasi-poseable 1/6-scale Iron Man armor, which will be featured in Iron Man 3. Let me just get this out of the way: I think it looks stupid.

Hot Toys has done a fine job translating the armor into toy form, but that color scheme is horrible. The champagne-colored armor plates dominate too much of the overall color scheme, and just screams "90s Toyota Camry" to me.

If you must own this, at least know you'll probably be getting a quality figure. This isn't like Hot Toys' usual 1/6-scale figures; it has only a few joints for a limited range of poses. You'll get parts to make a standing pose and a flying pose. On top of that you'll also get LEDs which light up his various glowy parts, including the weak point which should be attacked for massive damage.

We'll be on the lookout for more pricing and pre-order info, but so far we know this is planned for Q2 2013.

Let Skettle shake, rattle, and squish your bones! screenshot

A skeleton for Valentine's Day? Sure, you bet!  Squishable and Andrew Bell surprised fans with this odd concept just a few days ago. The new plush's name is Skettle and the roly-poly ball of bones just wants to be loved. He seems to be quite popular, too; The inventory status on Skettle's page indicates that he is already halfway sold out. I imagine that Squishable will get more of the plush in but, if you really have your heart set on him, I'd play it safe and order soon.

Andrew Bell has a real gift for plush design. I don't know about you, dear readers, but I pounced on the chance to nab my own Skettle like a Kodiak bear on a salmon. You can get your Skettle for US$42 at the Squishable online store

According to the Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, In a recent interview with MTV, the Transformers 4 segment of the movies franchise will be "Completely Different," but goes on to add that "... a lot of the things that you love about the other ones are joining the ride." One of them is unlikely to be Sam Witwicky, played by Shia LaBeouf in the first three films. Whatever the deal with the new movie, it is starting to feel like these guys are trying to get people agitated about there being a total reboot, or not, with all the back and forth.
