Fonzo Love NY customs show opens tonight
Tonight is a very special night for toy-lovers of New York City, MyPlasticHeart will be opening its latest show, "Fonzo Love NY." The event will feature figures of Freak Store's Fonzo, customized by many famous artists including: 64Colors, Artmymind, Andrew Bell, Ardabus Rubber, Aya Kakeda, Alisa Ross, Beast Brothers, Burundanga Design, Brandt Peters, Chuckboy, Camila D'Errico, Charles Rodriguez, David Cook, Dave Pressler, DoubleParlour, Fuller Designs, Fonzo designer Gary Ham, Greg Mike, Grimsheep, Gabriel Carpio, Hydro74, Ian Ziobrowski, Jeff Lamm, Jermaine Rogers, Jeremiah Ketner, Kathie Olivas, Kano, Martin Hsu, Nakanari, Rsin, Scribe, Southerndrawl, Scott Tolleson, and Thomas Han. Just in from TFC Toys page are new images of the Project Uranos SR-71 Blackbird and the X-45 Phantom Ray figures. We have been waiting to see these guys in color and here they are in albeit somewhat lo-res images. Get some new looks at the Silverbolt homage SR-71 Blackbird with colors complimenting the G1 namesake as well as the X-45 Phantom Ray buddy figure that completes the chest plate of the six member combiner team. Pick up this hanging dragon, as long as you're a dude
So recently we spotted this fairly cool little hanging dragon over at Neatorama, usually a good source of things a bit out of the norm. I like it! I'm not really one to hang things in any rooms, but I can definitely see the appeal for tossing it up for particular decoration or in a younger person's space.
It touts itself as being rather easy to put together, so it probably isn't much of a challenge even if one is normally all thumbs. I'm a little confused why either Neatorama or the item's creator is adding a feature like "Add whimsy to any boy's room!" though. Apparently someone's unaware of the large amount of female-penned and professionally published dragon-on-lady erotica out there. Not that I'm familiar with any of this, of course. I've just, you know, heard things.
Anyway, while I'm not really inclined to push any business their way after such a ridiculous statement, if you're not so agitated you can pick a kit up for about $12 at the NeatoShop. I'll be over here getting rid of all the dragon paraphernalia of mine and shipping it off to more appropriate owners since I'm not a dude.
