What’s Your Toy Fair Product Story?
Hot Toys Snake Eyes is now available to pre-order
It seems that a lot of us here like G.I. Joe and Hot Toys. The first Hot Toys release from G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Snake Eyes, looks to have captured our attention quite well. What Hot Toys is hoping is that it has done enough for you to justify spending $194.99 on its newest Movie Masterpiece.
Justifying that pricetag to your bank account won't be easy, but Snake Eyes does come with quite the payload. There's the assortment of hands to engage in combat, five of them to be precise, two swords and their sheath, a pair of daggers, a submachine gun and a pistol. There's always the great detail that Hot Toys has put into this release, but that's why we're paying attention to it to begin with. You can make that $194.99 decision with your pre-order today.

[NSFW] Native's Kotone leaves little to the imagination
Going along with their Misa-nee figure, Native will be releasing a 1/7-scale figure of Kotone Sasaki (another of doujin artist Raita's Mahou Shoujo characters) this May. You can check out a big preview gallery at Akiba Hobby. I think I like this one a bit more than Misa-nee as Kotone has a cooler outfit and overall design. But damn those are some pointy nipples.
It doesn't seem like there's a non-nude option for this figure, so you'd better be ready to put some boobies on display. It looks tasteful enough to me but I know for many people it can be daunting to put such a figure out for the world to see. My own rule is: if it looks good and I have the money, buy it!
This being a Native figure, you should expect high pricing and limited availability. It stinks but that's the price you pay for quality (¥14,000 MSRP). You can still place reservations up until January 7 through a proxy service or at the pre-order link below.

The Network Roundup: What's your resolution?
Just look at those calendars, 2013. Isn't it such a futuristic sounding number? I guess so many sci-fi things I love always had the dates of 2012, making 2013 sound so far away. Along with a snazzy new date stamp comes the annual list of personal resolutions we make, and potentially break for ourselves.
Personally, I'm hoping to party just a bit less, and get more actually gaming done. It was a year of collecting a lot of titles I never really settled down with. Time to make it happen. Make sure you check out all the posts this week to take a fond look back at the year that was 2012! So, what was your resolution?
