I just want to put this out there: Someone needs to make a talking Okabe Rintaro figure. He's got to be the most quotable anime character in recent history. Just think about the things he could say!

• "El Psy Congroo"
• "Kristiiiiina!"
• "Mwaahahaha!"
• "Hououin Kyouma!"
• "Hey mister, I am mad scientist. It's SO COOOOOL!!! Sonovabitch."

Yeah, you'd buy that figure. Hell, I'd buy two! Unfortunately this figure doesn't talk, but it's early so you never know, someone could make one some day.

So here's Plum's take on Okarin from the hit anime and game series Steins;Gate! Hard to believe, but this is the first time Okabe has been made in figure form (where's my figma!?) outside of garage kits. I have to say, Plum really knocked this one out of the park. It's based on art done by huke (of Black Rock Shooter fame) and is a wonderful representation. Not only do you get to display him in his signature folded arm pose, but you also get extra arms and a head to display him talking on his phone (likely to no one). Bet you want a talking figure now! He's at 1/8th scale and will be out in March 2013 for ¥6,800. Pre-order now, if you miss him you won't be able to go back in time to get him at these prices!
