Mix yourself a pre-order for this lovely Meruru
Somehow, despite all odds, the Atelier series seems to be one of the few JRPG franchises that just refuses to die. Being a fan with such tastes rather than seeing how many people in terrorist masks I can shoot in an hour, I'm certainly not complaining. It's not hard to see why though, as despite the odd alchemy-centric gameplay, the series tends to be absolutely gorgeous, certainly near the pinnacle of anime-styled gaming.
Phat Company's been providing us with Atelier figures for awhile now, and they've always captured the whimsical nature of the series to a tee. Thankfully that holds true with their gorgeous upcoming Meruru, heroine of the similarly named game.
The art style is unmistakable, and the brilliant coloring is unlike any you'll find in almost any other franchise around. I may get hung for saying so, but the inner gradient design of her mantle reminds me of MLP's Princess Cadance, one of my favorite characters. I'm also a fan of the delightful patterns around the cuffs of her sleeves! She may be tiny, but she's pretty irresistible, so be ready to cough up ¥7,429 when she arrives in May.

Skrillex Has A Video Game And It’s Awesome
It’s easy to hate on Skrillex since hating popular things just seems to be the status quo these days, but no matter which side of the Skrillex/dubstep fence you stand on, this game is definitely worth checking out.
The heavily 8-bit inspired Skrillex Quest mixes hints of Zelda, Journey, Ico, and Sword & Sworcery with trippy, glitchy, epileptic shock-inducing graphics. And, yes, it’s set to a Skrillex track (but it’s more chill and trance-y compared to his more violently wubby stuff) and uses iconic cues from his arsenal of songs as sound effects. If all that doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, just mute it, but it definitely adds to the overall experience.
The whole game can be completed in around 20 minutes. Check it out for free at SkrillexQuest.com.
It’s also worth mentioning that this was made by Jason Oda, the same guy who made the incredible Flash game based on one of my favorite 80’s sitcoms, Perfect Strangers.

Arcade Machine Hacked To Control RC Cars
Take a close look at the Sega Rally arcade cabinet pictured up top. Those aren’t the game’s graphics on the screen. It’s a live feed from a camera mounted onto an RC car that it controlled by the arcade. There’s even an option to switch between 1st and 3rd person views!
The cabinet is hooked up to an Arduino and I’m sure there’s all sorts of sciency stuff involved that I won’t ever understand, but it’s all pretty dang fresh.
The whole project was developed for the SAPO Codebits VI conference in Portugal.

Say 'Ok' to picking up a cuddly Rammus
While it may not be the stunning pvc or resin character figures many of us may have been hoping for, cuddly League of Legends plushes may be the next best thing? It's definitely nice to see Riot branching out in the merchandising world, and a squeezable talking Rammus from the masters at J!NX is a great step in the right direction.
He's no tiny thing either, topping the chart at just shy of a foot and a half in height, thanks to those dangerous looking spikes! While the speaker quality may not be absolutely smooth, the voice is definitely Rammus', featuring a number of his oh-so-variable phrases.
I'm certainly glad to see someone like Rammus showing up before a talking Teemo (Note to J!NX: Please don't actually do this.), but I just have one question: Where's my plush Ahri now?
