Set sail with Josuke Higashikata
When I last took a look at a figure from Jojo's, many of you took the opportunity to clue me in that the products were not in fact a rarity, but as popular as ever. Another chance to prove me wrong has cropped up from Di Molto Bene once more, showing off their upcoming Josuke Higashikata, protagonist of Diamonds are not Crash.
Typical Jojo's titles aside, I'm admittedly not too familiar with anything past what the anime has shown off. Josuke looks like your typical series protagonist though, and the all too recognizable art style is definitely intact. I am a bit confused at the old timey sailor's uniform, given the arc's actual setting, but one learns not to expect logic from this kind of series.
In any case, if you're the type to be interested in a figure like this, you probably already know whether or not you'll be picking it up. It's well done, it seems, but I can't imagine it appealing very far outside the fandom, unlike many. He'll be arriving this coming March for around ¥5,800.

Ano Natsu's Ichika prepares for even more summer fun
Perhaps cashing in on the success of Wave's Beach Queen lineup? CM's Corporation is not letting the craze for Ano Natsu's Ichika get away from them, preparing to release this beach-ready beauty in March. I've stated that she seems to be on track to match the popularity of her predecessor Mizuho, and this just goes to show you how very appealing her design is.
No one seems able to pass up a nice curvy redhead, particularly one covered up by only the flimsiest of bikinis. I can't deny the appeal, as I've made my attraction to Ichika clear more than a few times in the past. As with so many figures before, however, what really draws this one together for me is her nicely modeled hair. I love the messiness, and the duller, matte-like finish is actually a plus!
I don't know if I could choose one Ichika over the other, but if you're swinging towards this one you'll be able to pick her up for about ¥7,200.

Shawnimals' Softer Monday starts tomorrow online
Shawnimals' Black Friday a.k.a. Fuzzy Friday sale may be over but there is still Softer Monday (Cyber Monday) to look forward to. The sales event begins tomorrow, Monday the 26th at 10 a.m. Central. Keep your eyes on Shawnimals' news page and Facebook page for the coupon codes around that time. During Fuzzy Friday, the really big discount codes were limited in number (only five 50 percent off coupons) and I imagine Softer Monday will be the same.
What might you use those savings on? How about the newly released Santa Ninja plush? Or maybe the snowy Frostachio? The Ninjatown notepad is also a really cool choice. Whatever you choose to shop for, be sure to check out Shawnimals' Softer Monday sale tomorrow!

Baby Sister's Wall Art Quilts On Display
I know I've posted many times about my sister, her frame or quilt - fabric wall art, her pattern designs, and her Inspired Creations by D website. I can't help it. She's my baby sister and I'm just so PROUD of her and her creativity.
My sister sells her print patterns at a local sewing shop near her home called Sew Nice and has many of her finished frame or quilt - fabric wall art creations on display there.
Well, one of the things I wanted to do during my recent visit was see her wall art on display and take a few pictures. Well, maybe more than a few pictures!
So, one afternoon we visited and I took pictures. Hopefully she wasn't too embarrassed by this crazy lady taking pictures. However, I did find her hiding in the fabric stacks a few times. So, maybe she was a little embarrassed......
I thought her framed and unframed wall art quilts looked wonderful on the walls behind the checkout stand. They just stood out so beautifully against the blue colored walls of the sewing store.
Even the unframed wall art quilts looked great. I can understand why her quilt print patterns sell so well there. I were a customer and was looking up at her vibrant creations I'd certainly want to try making one and buy her patterns.
My sister also sells her print patterns and e-patterns on her Inspired Creations by D website. Her instant download e-patterns can be found on my Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns website on her Inspired Creations By D page which can be found HERE.
I'm just so PROUD of her. Can you tell?
