Every now and then there is something so profound and moving that I feel very strongly about that I just have to post it on my blog. If you can't deal with this video which openly defines what is really underneath what is happening in the Middle East right now, leave now.

There are no pictures other than Glenn Beck talking. It's the message.

First they came…” is a famous statement attributed to pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) about the inactivity of German intellectuals following the Nazi rise to power and the purging of their chosen targets, group after group. There is some disagreement over the exact wording of the quotation and when it was created; the content of the quotation may have been presented differently by Niemöller on different occasions.[1]

One version:
First they came for the socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.

Toys are safer than ever before, consumer advocates say, but parents should remain vigilant in keeping their little ones away from powerful magnets and small items that can easily cause choking.

Pokemon In Real Life Will Never Stop Being Awesome

No clue who made this GIF, but it makes my soul feel happy. All kinds of stupid happy.

If I could only live inside of one video game world for the rest of my life, it would definitely be Pokemon. Or maybe Dead Or Alive Beach Volleyball, but that’d be for a whole different reason.

Agent Phil Coulson steals some spotlight in Hot Toys line

Agent Phil Coulson steals some spotlight in Hot Toys line screenshot

S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson is a surprisingly popular guy. He started off as an original character for the Marvel movies with some minor supporting roles in the Iron Man films and has gained screen time with each appearance. And now? Not only is there talk of him getting his own t.v. show, but the character (and his actor, Clark Gregg) have gained toy immortality through a 1/6 scale Hot Toys figure.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't understand Coulson's popularity. I didn't think much of the character in either of his Iron Man movie appearances and disliked him in Thor as well as in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon (then again, I don't like that cartoon...). I'm guessing he must do something epic in The Avengers (which I still haven't seen) to get a figure.

Despite coming with a lot of goodies (a big gun, some trading cards, a file folder, etc), I'm not entirely sure that Coulson is even a good figure. The hair in particular strikes me as clashing with the photo-realism evident throughout the rest of the figure. I suppose other than the accessories, head, and hands, he's really just a guy in a suit; something that may appeal immensely to the character's fan-base but is visually uninteresting to everybody else. Any Phil Coulson fans here?

Mysterious tail turns up on Bluefin Tamashii's Facebook screenshot

The Bluefin Tamashii Nations' Facebook page has been updated with a mysterious photo of what appears to be a tail (at least, I *hope* that's a tail). Speculation has already begun to run wild, with suggestions ranging from a saiyan's tail to Goku's tail (admittedly redundant).

Of course, one user was quick to point out that "Bluefin SPECIFICALLY stated on twitter that the next release for DBZ would be something we saw at Tamashii Nation 2012" which limits the possibilities to Vegeta or Nappa. Personally I'm still hoping that answer is kid Goku but I can't argue with the logic even if it deflates fans' Flying Nimbus or shrinks their Power Poles (probably poor word choice). Out of the two, I would assume Vegeta would come first although I'm more interested in Nappa myself.
