It's obvious that the ladies of Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse have a certain aspect about them that cannot be overlooked. Figure manufacturers have also taken notice to this certain aspect, especially Alpha Max. In fact, it was them that recently focused on such with Miss Yui Takamura who casually relaxes (NSFW) with her body bursting out.
However, it can't always be a time to relax and ALTER Kotobukiya recognizes this with their own 1/7-scale release of Yui who is ready for battle. Yui has some beautiful eyes and the gentleness of her mouth and lips are just as beautiful. Yui has an interesting hair style though it seems like just too much going on with the number of directions it goes. The uniform itself has a nice contrast of colors on it as well as patterns from head to toe. Though, it seems rather bland in the front due to her large breasts being just that. It does make them stand out certainly but it would have been nice for the character design to have something going on there, too. I'm actually more interested in the back because there is more to see with the various patterns that are throughout the uniform. This is mostly covered by her long hair swaying, drawing more attention to the way the uniform wraps around her hips and butt which is unfortunate. One of the bonuses of this figure is Yui stands poised with sword drawn as she rests against rumble from an unknown structure. Oh, wait. Rocks or broken buildings! It's always either of those two! Aye...
ALTER's Kotobukiya's 1/7-scale Yui Takamura is a nice looking figure for design and colors, and I admit that it's hard to look away from the large breasts and tight butt that this uniform conforms to. If you're looking for an attractive figure of Yui but cannot bring yourself to buy Alpha Max's skin figures, ALTER's Kotobukiya's may be the choice for you. Look for her to go up for pre-order on November 20, 2012 in Japan now.
Update: Now available for pre-order. Koto's Yui from Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse is retailing for ¥8,800 and will be available in April, 2013.
