Cesar Zanardi, Monster Factory's Joniito revealed
You might remember last week, we brought you news that Cesar Zanardi and Monster Factory were having a show in Japan this week. Now, we're happy to bring along photos of their collaboration for the show, Joniito. Mashing up Cerrito's body with a Monster Factory-designed Jony head, Joniito appears to be coming in a variety of colors. I like the look of this little guy!
Joniito will be available at the show on Friday in Harajuku, and hopefully in future runs, too. Let us know what you think of it in the comments!

Jeff Lamm's M5, Stee-Gar have first separate releases
For those who've followed the work of Jeff Lamm, M5 and Stee-Gar should be familiar faces. They're two of his most recognizable characters alongside Greasebat, and they've always been paired together for releases. But now, Unbox Industries is splitting them apart: for the first time, they're making the original colorways of M5 and Stee-Gar available as individual figures. Better yet, they're "open edition" pieces, meaning everyone will have a shot to own one (or both, if you choose).
Want to pick one up? The original colorway M5 and Stee-Gar are now available for US$45 each. I think the whole idea is pretty neat and I'd love to see other open editions for basic figures; what do you think?

HobbyLink Japan has a nice Bandai sale going on
Saving money is always good. Sales are always good unless it tempts us to spend money we shouldn't be spending anyway. Today is one of those days, as HobbyLink has a sale on selected Bandai goods through December 3rd. With the holidays soon approaching, now's the time to get some gifts on the cheap.
There are a couple of items that caught my attention for this sale. For starters, the Soul of Chogokin Big O is now ¥6,400 and the Soul of Popynica Swordfish II is on sale for ¥3,840. There's the usual array of Gundam, mecha, Kamen Rider, One Piece, Super Sentai and other Bandai goods available in the sale, so peruse and see if anything is good for you. I'd love the Big O, but there's this thing about responsible parenting and financial budgeting is stopping me. Ah what the hell, I'll go into massive debt and that's okay!

Banpresto has new Gundam Unicorn figures for its DXF line
Outside of two releases by Megahouse, if you wanted some figures of the cast from Gundam Unicorn, you were out of luck. It's taken six episodes, but we're finally getting them! They were on display at several prize fairs, but preview shots are out, which means pre-orders should be right around the corner.
Banpresto is releasing the four figures under its DXF label of prize figures. Paired off in two sets, protagonist Banagher Links will go with his rival, Full Frontal while Marida Cruz will be released alongside Captain Zinneman. I'm excited for these as there isn't anything else. I do love my Megahouse Marida (reviewed here!) but it'd be nice to actually have the rest of the cast.
Outside of these preview shots and a release date of April for Banagher and Full Frontal, there's no other info available. Banagher's face could be a bit better, but at least it's not Play Arts Kai levels right? Given that these are prize figures, expect a price of ¥1,500-2,000. For that price, I can be a bit forgiving. For now, check out the images in the gallery below.
