Comments of the Year 32: Just let us start it over again
Thus closes another chapter of gaming, with one of the most exciting years of game releases yet. As we think back on the year, we are also remembering how, halfway through, we got Comments of the Week back as a regular feature. It's been a lot of fun doing this alongside a few like-minded individuals whom I've gotten to know a little better as I've worked with them.
This week we thought we would do something similar to our Halloween Special; I've gathered up all the members of our little family to share their favorite comments of the year, as well as some new ones. So once again, thank you guys for doing this thing with me and thanks a lot Destructoid Community for your immense contribution in making this thing happen. Couldn't have done it without you lot.
Happy new year!

The Teen Titans are going to the movies in, uh, Teen Titans GO! To The Movies
Teen Titans GO! has pretty much taken over Cartoon Network the last few years as blocks of the show have steadily replaced new programs, and now it's getting ready to dominate movie theaters (probably).
There are fans who are mad to see GO's success because they still feel the sting of the original's cancellation, but Teen Titans GO! has gotten this amount of success from...somewhere? And now they're in a movie! It's not like they had to move forward with the original character designs or voice cast, so take victories where we can I suppose.
Regardless, watch out for an extended fart joke Teen Titans GO! To The Movies when it hits theaters July 27.
Watch Hit hit you with his best shot in Dragon Ball FighterZ
Hit is probably one of the more popular inclusions into the Dragon Ball series in Dragon Ball Super, and that's because of his cool design and counter heavy tactics. Arc System Works seems to have translated his moveset perfectly much like everyone else's.
With a frame perfect counter, his banking of time and using it to both deal damage and dodge blows, and this trailer's jazzy tune, Hit seems like a great character addition. Definitely more exciting because he's one of the *brand* new characters, and doubly so because he's going to be one of those characters that's very hard to learn but is fun once you figure him out.
He's not included in the upcoming beta, but everyone will get to throw down with Hit when Dragon Ball FighterZ releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC January 26.

Monster Hunter: World's producer opens up about the PC version's delay
As many are already aware, Monster Hunter: World will not be simultaneously launching on PC alongside the console ports. While we received that news last week, we didn't have a concrete reason for why. Speculation was that Capcom didn't want to screw up the game's potential in for the PC market and World's producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, confirmed just that to GamesRader and PC Gamer.
"For the main Monster Hunter game, this is our first PC title," said Tsujimoto, "and it’s something we want to make sure we get right. So rather than have it taking up resources during the console development and not it not being able to have our full attention on it, we want to get console out the door and then we’re going to take some extra time and try and get the PC version as good as possible."
One of the biggest hang-ups seems to be with online matchmaking. Since PC doesn't really have a standardized network (unless locked to Steam), Capcom wants to ensure that players from anywhere can smoothly connect to each other. "On console you use first party matchmaking, you just kind of plug into it, whether it’s PSN or Xbox Live, but on PC we’re going to have to work more to get our own matchmaking working."
So while this outcome is still unfortunate, at least we can rest easy knowing that Capcom is trying its best to maximize the quality of the port. Hopefully World doesn't disappoint when it comes to PC later this year, though previous Capcom ports give me no reason to worry.

You deviants watched a lot of Pornhub on PlayStation 4
As part of their year in review for 2017, Pornhub released the stats for interesting things like length of time per visit, most searched terms and stars, and even down to age group. But the relevant thing here is which consoles most people streamed from.
The majority of streams are on PlayStation 4 with 56%, followed by the Xbox One with 32%. Apparently "Nintendo’s portable 3DS had a large increase in market share but still only makes up 1% of game device traffic," according to their data. Also of note is that "Nintendo’s original Wii had a large decrease, while the updated WiiU now accounts for 5% of console visits."
Most interesting of all is that Pornhub mentions a rumored app for the Nintendo Switch later this year that they would be happy to work on:
Nintendo’s newest Switch doesn’t yet have a browser, although it’s rumored that one will be implemented sometime in 2018 — at which time you can be sure Pornhub’s development team will work to ensure full support.
The end of year data is pretty interesting overall, and you could give it a look at this obviously NSFW link.
