Tamashii officially lists Mewtwo, here are some pictures
Scarecroodle got the details on D-Arts Mewtwo when it appeared on some magazine scans, and now Tamashii web has officially listed the figure with some final prototype samples. I really need to echo what he mentioned in his post though: I'm thrilled that Pokémon are finally getting some decent figures that aren't US$13 Toys "R" Us shooter models and a few plushies or Burger King Kids Meal toys. This kind of thing really sends me back.
As previously announced, Mewtwo is slated for release in March with a ¥3,990 price tag. It'll come with attack parts from Pokémon: The First Movie which his appearance here is based on. His base is shaped like a Pokéball and he even includes a little Mew as a bonus!
See the gallery for some clear images of upcoming Mewtwo. If you need more Pokémon in your life, check out Brian's post on some other D-Arts figures being released in the series: Charizard, Venusaur and Blastoise.

DCON Exclusives from EscToy
DesignerCon 2012 is this Saturday, and Erick Scarecrow is bringing some awesome stuff with him. The hand-painted lurker is a resin figure that comes with a poster and pin. The super limited 2 Tails Fireball edition will also be available - only 11 were made. The Little Spiker Spitfire edition is also limited - 16 of those will be available. These are all awesome, and I especially love the transparent resin of the Little Spiker.
Erick will also be signing at DCON. He’ll be at the BAIT booth (#101) from 11 - 12 for the Little Spiker Spitfire release and at the Spanky Stokes booth (#301) from 1:30 - 2:30 for the Lurker release.
Move into Sakurasou, now with bunnygirl Misaki
Definitely my show of the season, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo hooked me from the outset, particularly with the absolutely adorable Mashiro. The series seems to be quite the hit in general, breaking out of its light novel roots with manga, anime, and now visual novel adaptation set to hit both PSP and Vita this coming January. While I'd absolutely love to play it, I'm not ever going to get my hopes up.
However, there is some incentive, even if one is even less fluent than I am. Bundled with the first pressing of the game comes a figure of the hyperactive Misaki dolled up in bunnygirl form. While I'd, of course, prefer something packaged with the aforementioned Mashiro, this is still a nice incentive for fans of the series! Being bundled with the games means she's a bit pricey, so expect to drop around ¥8,680 for the PSP version, or ¥9,100 if you're going all out with the Vita.
