It's not magic, it's Funko: Harry Potter Rock Randy figure
Spring is here and magic is in the air... and will also soon be on the shelves, as Funko has a series of Harry Potter Rock Candy figures set to release this May. Expect to see Ron, Hermoine, Beatrix Lestrange, "Loony" Luna Lovegood, and, of course, Harry Potter himself (with Hedwig, Harry's snow owl) coming to a retailer near you.
The figures -- all of which look great -- are a notable departure for Funko's Rock Candy line which has so far focused more on women, with its early offerings featuring the likes of Barbie and the ladies of the DC Universe. However, Funko has become a bit more gender-inclusive by adding some male characters to the line.(And good thing, too, since Harry looks great!)
If you're not familiar with the Rock Candy line, it's a more recent addition to Funko's offerings. It's a line of stylized 5-inch tall figures which, at a US$10 MSRP, are a great value. I've said it before and I'll say it again: The genius of Funko is finding new ways to sell us figures based on the same characters and the Rock Candy line seems to be no exception. It's an incredible company which has quickly branched out and made a place for itself on collectors' shelves.

DST does it again! Check out their incredible upcoming items
Few companies have consistently impressed me as much as Diamond Select Toys, which has once again released details for some absolutely incredible upcoming products. Whether you're drooling over the Marvel Premier Collection Psylocke, watching the Sam Wilson Captain America diorama take flight, or marveling at the Nightmare Before Christmas Pumpkin King, there's something for everybody.
Particularly noteworthy, perhaps, is the fact that DST is *finally* giving fans decent-quality Pirates of the Caribbean figures. Collectors may recall the exceptionally low quality of some previous Pirates lines which now look even worse when compared to DST's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Select Action Figures. Jack Sparrow and Barbossa each come with half of a ship diorama.

Generations Cyber Commander Optimus Prime - Deco Changes To The 2017 Release

As with the Cyber Battalion series, these are larger transforming figures with fewer moving parts, largely intended for overseas markets. Do you have enough coins for Monogram's latest bank busts?
Monogram International, makers of some of my favorite paperweights, has released images and details for some of its recently released and upcoming bank busts.
The bank busts, which seem to retail for around US$20, include a really nice Spider-Gwen, Doctor Strange (comic version), movie Batman, Joker (Suicide Squad), Harley Quinn (Suicide Squad), Black Panther (MCU), Deadpool, and Sally (Nightmare Before Christmas). All things considered, it's a pretty neat assortment of busts which, at around US$20, won't break the bank.

New “The Walking Dead” Characters in 1/6th from Threezero?
On first glance, I’d thought Threezero has announced their next 1/6th-scaled adaptation from AMC’s “The Walking Dead” would be “DARYL DIXON”, but soon realised that it essentially may well be a “license announcement” for the next series of characters - including (from left to right) “Carol”, “Maggie”, “Glenn” and “Negan”!!!

Constance Madsen's sculpt is rather insipid (like so many of the CI dolls.)
When I saw that they had a new body type, I immediately eliminated them from consideration. That was the issue that doomed the Katy Keene line as well. The suits designed for Katy's companion were stunning but the body just did not work for me with it's giant hands and enormous feet.
Collectors like me want variety but we also like dolls to be able to share clothes and shoes.
IMO the great majority of collectors currently populating the W Club are not, for the most part, vintage oriented. They like young, edgy fashion so I am surprised that the dolls are sold out on pre-order.
Chris is a very popular and talented designer. This would make an excellent line of 50's fashions to purchase separately if they were the proper size for Fashion Royalty dolls.
Why are their shoes plastic? That's a new backward step.
