Optimus Prime and Pyra Magna meet at the singularity in the ruins of Crystal City to (hopefully but probably not successfully) settle their differences. As Starscream eavesdrops, Prime talks about the friends he lost in that place, including the story of how he met Bumblebee. Pyra Magna in turn has a story to tell, about how the Torchbearers' current incarnation came to be. 928 Toys Laboratory on Facebook has shared a nice little gallery of MMC's Continuum upgrade kit for their unofficial Overlord figure Carnifex. These parts help give Carnifex a bit more of a Masterforce feel, with Godmaster/Powermasters, a replacement head derived a bit more from the toy, and some add on weapons for the base mode. Voyager class Universe Spy Changer Optimus Prime is weird. He's a decent enough toy. He has an interesting transformation dominated by a versatile (and byzantine) armature for the jet mode wings. And the most deco focus seems to have gone to the jet mode most of us aren't going to care about over the truck we will. A lot of odd choices here on arguably the least-essential release of this mold we know about so far. Keep reading to see 78 photos!
