Transformers Monopoly From Winning Solutions Pushes Licensed Board Games To A New High
Gizmodo is reporting on a new licensed Transformers product. Winning Solutions is produced a Transformers-themed version of Monopoly, based around common concepts of G1, like using popular characters in place of properties, or making game pieces shaped like Unicron and the Matrix instead of a hat. With a very attractive styling and mapping of the game to Transformers-relevant elements, this seems like an ideal themed edition of Monopoly. Until you discover the price in excess of $500. Winter Wonderfest 2017 - Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee Video Demo By Hisashi Yuki
During Wonderfest this past weekend, Dengeki Hobby carried out an extended live video stream, featuring various products being shown off by representatives from different companies. Among these was a great look at Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee, presented by TakaraTomy designer Hisashi Yuki. The segment provided a very detailed overview of the toy displayed in both modes, as well as a small showing of detail features like deployable battle mask. Wonder Festival 2017 Winter: Wonderful Hobby Life For You
There were some intriguing Nendoroid and figma announcements at Wonder Festival but the scale figure previews weren't as interesting. Under the Wonderful Hobby Life For You banner, Good Smile Company and associated groups showed off a ton of figures. However only a few of them belonged to properties that I actually know about and like.
Still, I picked out a few that at least looked cool:
- Mitsuha Miyamizu from Your Name, one of the most successful anime films of all time
- A very pretty Shiki Ichinose from Idolmaster Cinderella Girls
- A wacky looking Dedededede vignette figure from Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction. I have no idea what that is but I like this figure.
- Dokumi, the mascot of Tenga? Yeah this is really strange. If you don't know what Tenga is, they make adult "stress relievers" for men.
- A diorama figure of Osomatsu-san
- Young Kiss-Shot/Shinobu Oshino from Kizumonogatari
- Warspite, one of the newer ships of KanColle
- Also from KanColle, a casual clothes version of Shigure. I want more casual ship girls!
- Sakura Futaba from Persona 5
- Parfom EVA-01!
- Rem from Re:Zero in some wedding-themed lingerie
- More Eva with Kaworu and Shinji scale figures!
- Tatsumaki from One Punch Man
- Even more Eva with Parfom Rei and Asuka
