Rock Garden Alpacas Fiber
If you love crafting with fiber, love using roving for dolls, love free style needle felting, love needle felting with penny rugs or wool felt, love needle felting accessories and decorations, and love spinning or dyeing roving you'll be happy to know that my sister and brother-in-laws alpaca farm, Rock Garden Alpacas is now selling their alpaca's fiber.
Even though it's my baby sister and you might think I'm a little biased I have no problem whatsoever telling you that it's exceptional roving. I've used it, I've loved using it, and I will continue to use it for my dolls and needle felt creations.
My sister and her husband established Rock Garden Alpacas in 2011 as a new and exciting adventure. They have full Peruvian, Full Accoyo and Perucoyo Huacaya Alpacas and are currently establishing their herd. They sell fiber and fiber products from their herd and their store will continue to grow as their herd does.

What Would Thanksgiving Be Without Pilgrims?
Penelope and her husband, Eliot have something unusual in common with Gertrude and her husband, Elias. Not only do they both live in the Plymouth Colony, but they came over to America together. Now those two facts might not make them so unusual. What does make them unusual is Penelope and Gertrude are twin sisters and Eliot and Elias are twin brothers. So, we have twins marrying twins. Unusual - yes, indeed!
Penelope and Gertrude just adore their husbands, Eliot and Elias and would do anything to please them. So, they're hoping to cook the best turkey dinner ever. And, to top it off they're going to make their favorite pumpkin pies. Eliot and Elias work so hard providing for them that they want to show them how much they care and how much they has to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.Penelope and Gertrude are both 17" cloth and wood pilgrim ladies. They have cloth heads and bodies and wood dowels for legs and are standing on a wood platform. Their face is embroidered and they have black beads for eyes. They both have freckles and blush on their rosy cheeks. Their beautiful red hair is kept nice and neat by their pilgrims bonnets.
Both are wearing fringed and gathered bloomers, a pilgrim dress with pilgrim collar, pilgrim bonnet, and fringed apron tied around their waists. A fringed bow adorns the neckline of their dress.Penelope and Gertrude are carrying the turkey that their husbands Eliot and Elias just shot for Thanksgiving and which they are preparing for their Thanksgiving feast with other members of the Plymouth Colony.
They all have a lot to be thankful for this year.
Eliot and Elias would do anything for Penelope and Gertrude. They just adore them and always want to please them. So, this year they shot two enormous turkey's for them to cook for the Thanksgiving feast the Plymouth Colony was preparing. They also want to make a few pumpkin pies so they found the biggest pumpkins they could from the pumpkin patch. They hope this will please thermEliot and Elias are 17" cloth and wood pilgrim men. They have a cloth head and body and wood dowels for legs and are standing on a wood platform. Their face is embroidered and they have black beads for eyes and a large wood knob nose. Their dark brown hair is thick and bushy and matches their dark brown beard and mustache They both have freckles and blush on their rosy cheeks. Atop their heads sits a felt pilgrim hat.
Both are wearing a fringed and gathered shirt with pilgrim collar that is gathered at the neck and wrists. They both have tall white socks for warmth and are wearing their best fringed and checkered bloomers that are gathered at the waist and knees. Their finest wool felt long vest is held closed by their wool felt belts with large wool felt pilgrim belt buckles.On their feet are their best and warmest pilgrim shoes with pilgrim buckle adornments. Both are carrying pumpkins for Penelope and Gertrude and both have a second one at their feet just in case they need more than one.
