Christmas Collectible Image Competition Winner & Entrants
With Christmas almost upon us, we thought a competition was in order to show you some great ideas for displaying your collectibles in a festive way.
Movie Figures runs and sponsors the very popular Collectibles BST UK Action Figures, Statues and Prop Replicas Group on Facebook. With over 4,000 members, this active group is a great place to interact with other UK collectors and you can also buy, sell and trade your collectibles for free so long as you are not a business and you live in the UK. The group is a closed one where each applicant is vetted to check they are a UK resident and not an advertiser.
For the past few weeks, we asked group members to submit images for a competition to win a £75 gift card to spend on our site. Submissions were then posted to the group for members to vote upon over a one week period. The image with the most likes was the winner!
To encourage some entries, we made a few images and a promotion video ourselves.

That particular collectible is a Terminator T-800 bust from Sideshow Collectibles. Long sold out, but a great looking piece!

DNA Designs Susanoo Unofficial Bludgeon In Hand Pictures
Blacklai at TFND has gotten a few pictures of a production sample of Susanoo, a project by DNA Designs. This figure is a take on Bludgeon, using the Revenge of The Fallen line's Voyager as a conceptual base, but more or less eliminating any movie styling. The figure shows substantially improved articulation - and check out those hands! - being able to strike many a characteristic samurai-inspired pose. This might be a little too specifically focused to draw a large audience, but time will ultimately tell. The photos are definitely worth checking out, so keep reading to see them below!
