Edward Kenway (Mayan Outfit)
One of my latest acquisitions comes from AC IV: Black Flag, and it is this version of Edward Kenway in his Mayan inspired outfit. Of course, this is an artistic interpretation, as Mayans really did not dress like this nor had a working knowledge of metal armor manufacturing.![]()

Platinum Edition Unicron New In Package Photos Of Movie Anniversary Tie In Toy

Via Robot Kingdom on Facebook we've got packaging images for Platinum Edition Unicron. This release of the Supreme Class Unicron toy again features the remolded parts to improve resemblance to Unicron's appearance in the G1 cartoon, and looks to remain very similar to the deco seen on the Amazon Exclusive US release several years ago. If you're looking for more bargains on slightly out of date Transformers toys you may have passed on previously, it looks like a new batch of products are filtering out to closeout stores in the US. Today we spotted at Ross a quantity of Combiner Wars Leader Class Skywarp for $19.99, as well as RID Mini-Con Deployer Drift and Fracture at $8.99 a piece. Alongside the recent supply of Combiner Wars Voyagers and box sets, and it looks like the holiday shopping season may have a nice range of Transformers to choose from at lower prices! Matty Collector starts the savings early with 7 Days of Cyber Monday sale
Matty Collector started its Black Friday & Cyber Monday celebration on Wednesday, with a 40% off sale on an array of older items and -- to top it off -- free shipping on all orders.
While the savings are slightly less than last year's (and it's a 7-day promo instead of a 8-day one), on the plus side there's no minimum order amount on the free shipping offer and there are quite a few new(er) items on sale. Also notably absent are the "Daily Deals" that we saw last year.
The newer selection includes quite a few items from 2015 (including most of Club 200x; the only thing missing is the exclusive Queen Grayskull) as well as some con exclusives (meaning I might pick up the Wilykit & Wilykat 2-pack). And, of course, if you missed anything last year, quite a few of those items are on sale again.
On the whole, I suppose it's not an impressive sale compared to previous years but at least it gives you a chance to pick up some great items at a decent discount WITH that free shipping offer. Of course, the coolest items sold out almost immediately, but there are still a lot of great collectibles in-stock.
