The Dolls Product Lines Series
As a reader of my Linda's Blog and The Dollie Storage Room Blog you are probably well aware that my dollies have always had minds of their own. That might even be an understatement. They have strong wills and strong points of view. When they want something they WANT it.
Now you might say, "So what! They're just dolls!" While that is true they do have a distinct advantage over me in sheer numbers. There are literally thousands of them in the "Dollie Storage Room."
It's my own fault. I, simply, have made way too many dolls over the years. That's neither here nor there now. The fact is there are a lot of them. And, when they want something - well, THEY WANT IT! They're just so demanding.
Years ago when they demanded that they be allowed to have a 'Dollie Fashion Show Series" which I had to give in to. They loved their fashion shows and this has kept them quiet for quite some time.
While it's been quiet I knew it would just be a matter of time before they told me - or demanded something else.
Well, it seems the "dollies" had gotten together recently and decided they wanted a "The Dolls Product Lines Series." Over the years many of the dolls have not only had e-patterns and handmade dolls made, but have graphics that have been used to create custom fabric lines, handmade goods lines, and products on demand lines.
In thinking about this new demand I had to agree with them. That would be a good idea.
I know, I know... shock of shocks. I agree with the dollies. Just don't tell them....

Gotta Love Needle Felted Scarecrows
My trio of handmade needle felted OOAK scarecrow art dolls are as different as they are alike. For sure they are all scarecrows. For sure they are all needle felted and for sure they're all sitting on grapevine pumpkins. That, however, is where their similarity ends.
Stan The Pumpkin Man is a little apprehensive about anyone taking his pumpkins. He knows that everyone will be coming in Fall for their pumpkins and hopes he'll be less apprehensive about them taking them by then. We'll see...... Stan The Pumpkin Man is not for sale.
Penny The Pumpkin Pie Maker just loves baking - especially when she's making her famous pumpkin pies. She has a knack for making the best pumpkin pies in the area and is well known far and wide for them. In fact she has so many requests for her pumpkin pies during the Fall season that she can't keep up with all the orders. She tries to but sometimes she needs help from her cousins, Stan The Scarecrow Man, and Samuel Scarecrow. Stan is more than willing to help - even though he's a little apprehensive about his baking skills. Samuel, on the other hand not only thinks being a scarecrow is beneath him - cooking is also. He's just too regal to bake - or so he thinks. Penny The Pimpkin Pie Make is available for sale here.
Unlike his cousin Stan The Pumpkin Man "Samuel Scarecrow" is not apprehensive about anyone taking his pumpkins. In fact, he's more than happy to let anyone take his pumpkins and his bales of hay for free as long as they do the work to harvest the pumpkins and hay bales. He feels that he is too regal to toil in the fields. He was meant for more refined activities like being waited on. Perhaps he should have chosen a different line of work than being a scarecrow. What do you think.... Samuel Scarecrow is not for sale.
Scarecrows for sure, but as different as night and day.

The Dolls Product Lines Series - Penelope Pumpkin Lady
Penelope Pumpkin Lady is just the sweetest pumpkin lady you'd ever want to meet. She's very refined and loves dressing in her finest Victorian outfit and sipping English Breakfast Tea with scones. For her life doesn't get any better than that.
Penelope's pumpkin friends get angry at her because she doesn't spend any time in the pumpkin patch with them. She tries to explain to them that the pumpkin patch is not a place for a refined lady, especially one wearing her finest Victorian outfit. And, the bonnet - well, there's no way she'd wear that in the pumpkin patch. So, she tries to coax her friends into having tea and scones with her. It's not an easy sell as they like being outside in the pumpkin patch and hope that Penelope will one day come to her pumpkin senses and join them. They've got their fingers or should I say stems crossed.

ToysRUs Japan has opened preorders for Geoffrey Prime, a recolor of Transformers Adventure/Robots In Disguise Warrior Class Optimus Prime, which will ship. It's based on an EZ/Legion class giveaway figure from last year, with a few minor differences.
