Along with a new store in the form of Gallery ThreeA, ThreeA Toys are dropping the first of their new Bambaboss figures tonight, the Panda Boss. Standing 12.5 inches tall from the top of the smoke to the foot, the Panda Boss comes with multiple points of articulation and three different faces. That's a big, big upgrade in size and articulation over the old Bambaboss figures, plus if you order today only, you get a 0DAY G3ANAUT T-shirt!
You can pick up the Panda Boss for US$140 in the Gallery ThreeA store right now. Anyone thinking of doing so?
Barbie is toting a new accessory-an LCD screen that displays pictures taken with her built in camera. Now kids can interact with their doll in a new way like they’ve never been able to before. What Is She Like? The Barbie Photo Fashion Doll is just like all the other Barbies before her. She’s glamorous, [...]
Take a look at the Baby Hjolster, which actually isn’t Baby Holster misspelled because I got Dorito dust in my computer keys. Those of you who have created a monster (a.k.a have a child) know all about the Baby Bjorn, that thing that’s basically a backpack that you can safely put your child in. Well, this is like that, except it’s a holster. But, when you get into trouble with some sketchy folk, you just have a useless baby. Practice the ...
Toys R Us is already gearing up for the holiday season, adding a "hot toy" reservation system.
DrawnWords.com Presents: 50 Great Games | #2: Infamous 2
Continuing on with the series of 50 Great Games, the weekly article where illustrators and writers come together to blab about their favorite video games and why they’re so cool, here is entry #2. The post features Drawn Word’s artist Estevan Sanchez’s pick, Infamous 2. He wrote, painted, and paneled the following comic strip about why Infamous 2 is indeed the shit. Read the entire comic after the jump below. Take a look at last week’s article on Dead Rising 2 over here, if you haven’t seen the weekly DW series before.
The first of my Precarious line fashions, Scandal, has arrived. Steampunk Cami is modeling.
Overall it's one of the most unique of all Tonner outfits I've ever seen. In case you don't know, it does come on a doll...
...but I chose to just get the outfit. You have to find someone willing to part with it. I got lucky.
Popular toys called Water Balz expand greatly in size when exposed to liquid, posing a hazard to pets and small children who may swallow them when they are the size of marbles, pediatricians warn.
Engage and amuse your baby with the fascinating Winkel. Babies will have a ball playing with this tangle of bright colors and fun textures; or parents can refrigerate the Winkel to turn it into a cooling and soothing teether. Measures 4.5".

Furbies created quite a wave when they debuted in 1998. Why? Mostly it was because of their apparent ‘intelligence’ reflected in their ability to develop their verbal communication. There were some attempts to bring Furby back in the mid-2000s, but none were extremely successful. Now, 14 years after their creation, they’re getting ready to make [...]
Razor has a knack for being sharp and staying on the cutting edge of developing new, awesome toys-take the Delta 500, for example. The FlashRider 360, their remake of a 3 wheeled bike, is just another example. It may appear somewhat ordinary at first, but let’s take a closer look. What Is the FlashRider 360? [...]
Nanoblocks are fantastic little blocks (the smallest one only 4X4X5 mm) that open up huge opportunities when it comes to building. There are a number of different sets, and each one allows for the detailed construction of something awesome. Our Experience with Nanoblocks We built the Taj Mahal. That sounds like a lofty statement but [...]
On my way back from Comikaze today I stopped by my local Toys R Us. I saw the new glow in the dark Amazing Spiderman figures from Hasbro. There is also a “Buy one, get one 50% off on all Mattel DC Universe products, including Action League, Young Justice, JLU and DCUC. Also there is [...]
“Eli D.” gives us an interesting heads up … “I did want to point out that using a link from the last kmart pre-sale from the front page of your site, I was already able to pre-order a case of the October Kmart cars day #9 cars. I’m not sure exactly how it worked, but [...]
Most fans figured that when Mattel announced Thunder-Punch He-man that Dragon Blaster Skeltor would be coming hot on his heels since they were companion (variant) figures back in the vintage line. This one is a little strange in the MOTUC line as this Skeletor variant was based on the gimmick that the dragon-blaster squirted a [...]
Sometimes you just totally enjoy what you're designing. Such was the case with my new "Snug As A Bug In A Rug Mug Rugs" penny rug mug rugs that I designed to compliment my "It's Raining Baby Showers" coffee mugs at http://www.zazzle.com/rainingbabyshowers/mug.
I had been wanting to create some wool felt items for my "It's Raining Baby Showers" baby shower decorations line and thought that mug rugs with little baby heads in blanket buntings and umbrellas with raindrops would be cute.
"Snug As A Bug In A Rug Mug Rugs" is a pattern to create a 4 1/4" by 8" girls mug rug and a 4 1/4" by 8" boys mug rug. The mug rugs are made from two pieces of wool felt (pink for the girls and blue for the boys) which are blanket stitched around all the edges. The umbrella's, raindrops, and rattle are embroidered. The babies have embroidered and blushed cheek faces, yarn for hair, warm and natural for the bunting blanket and a floss ribbon tie in a bow to secure the blanket bunting.
The pattern includes color diagrams showing the step-by-step process from start to finish and includes directions for embroidering the basic blanket stitch.

The 35th Doll Show took place today in Tokyo and I managed to muster a couple of hours at the event before heading back to the office. As usual the place was filled with lovely dollies and accessories.

Kat Brunnegraff shares with us her Skelepope and Skelebot for the Giant Robot Biennale 3: Remix Project - dine in a black-n-white palette, and looking pretty splendid indeed, I have to say! I wonder what it was exactly that the diminutive Skelebot said to the Skelepope (love the name, btw) to make him "scream" like that! LOL Check out what other goodies lie in her Etsy shop!
Richard 'PodgyPanda' Kouch shares with us his custom-set for the Giant Robot Biennale 3: Remix Project - featuring a sculpted "My Friend Dave" from David Horvath, paired with his beach-buddy 'Big Boss Robot' here!"Entitled "Painting my bro a shade of Panda", this custom sees me playing with Sculpy for the first time, super steep learning curve when I attempted to cut off and smooth out the
