Stylish Clothes For Busy Moms From Zoxy Clothing
SDCC: Diamond Select Toys
DST's booth never fails to leave me with a smile. The company always has a good variety of great-looking collectibles on display.
Case-in-point this year includes a very unexpected Iron Giant Vinimate, some new Batman busts, and the generally awesome Marvel collectibles. (Speaking of Marvel collectibles, this marks the first public convention outing for the recently announced Marvel Select Odin the Destroyer as well as Marvel Select movie version (ie, the Benedict Cumberbatch) Doctor Strange!).
The Vinimates line was also represented and I'm really liking the look of the line, especially when you can see the figures next to each other. The display included a Beetlejuice, Buddy from Elf, Predators, Aliens, Marty McFly & Doc Brown (Back to the Future), and, oh yeah, THE IRON GIANT, as well the Ghostbusters, Alice, etc, Vinimates that went up for pre-order back in June. (Plus there were a few more Alice items up there, including the Cheshire Cat.)
Other items on display include items from the upcoming Kevin Smith horror film Yoga Hosers (the idea of Kevin Smith doing horror again is scary in itself!), some Muppets figures (yes, the show goes on with collectibles), a lot of Aliens/Predators Minimates, Gotham Selects wave 3 (I still need to watch the show), and more Nightmare Before Christmas figures.
Oh, and if you're a fan of 20+ year old movie spoilers, there's also an unmasked Phantasm bust from Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. (Although honestly, if you haven't seen it by now, that's really on you.)

Wonder Festival 2016 Summer: Megahouse
Megahouse had a very eclectic mix of items on display but the one major theme was that most were from very popular anime, both past and present. The Shonen Jump titles continue to have a strong presence with more One Piece, Dragonball and Naruto figures. Adding to that list are figures from World Trigger so it looks like the collaboration between Jump and Megahouse is still going strong.
They also seem to be branching out into some rather odd corners as seen with the display of the container ship from Gundam 00 and the deathtrap mobile workers from Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans. And I thought releasing Cyber Formula GPX racing cars was out of character...
Megahouse also had a large display for their Desktop Army line of figures, which seems a bit hasty considering their first release in the line is just barely on the shelves but I guess they have confidence in that line.

Wonder Festival 2016 Summer: Nendoroids
And next, we move onto another GoodSmile Company juggernaut in the form of their Nendoroids. I have to admit that I still get the odd one or two of these from time to time and the selection is so large, I'm sure everyone will find something for themselves in this large pile.
Again, GoodSmile Company dip their toes into DotA2, with nendoroids of some of the characters from the game. And speaking of video games, they also showed off a Kusanagi Kyo and Shiranui Mai from the king of fighters! One thing I'm a little apprehensive about though, is the Nendoroid X from Megaman X. Also, from the looks of things, it appears that he is in his fully armoured form from X1 so expect additional parts to let him do a hadouken! The thing is, I can understand a nendo Megaman but X was always meant to have a more mature look and was always designed with more realistic proportions so I think a Figma would have been a better choice here. A SD X just looks weird to me. But to top things off, there was also a placeholder for Luddens, the mascot for Kojima Productions. Man, they snapped him up fast!
There were also a handful of Parform figures on display as well but not enough to give them their own post so I added them here. On display were Momohime from Muramasa, Gwendoline from Odin Sphere and Asuka, Rei and Eva Unit 1 in the line. Momohime and Gwendoline looked great and I loved the little scene they did with Unit 1. I do think I will be getting Momohime and Gwendoline but how about you, readers?
Are there any nendoroids or Parform figures you want to get after seeing all these?
