Rather unsurprisingly, GoodSmile Company was out in full force at Wonder Festival, showing off all their associated lines with a mix of old and new as well as expected items and unexpected ones!
Looking at the Figmas first, there were a number of old hands on display as well as a fair few which have already been put up for pre-order as well as expected showings, like the figma Guyver III.
Completely new showings include Mumei from Koutetsujou no Kabaneri and Hentai Kamen from, well, Hentai Kamen. We also get a figma Zelda to go with Link and more shots of those Berserk figmas which stretch the idea of what we expect to see from the line. There were also some DotA2 Figmas as well. Not sure if the game is popular enough in Japan to warrant it, or if it's to placate more international fans but there you go!
More interesting are the placeholders for future releases which have no prototypes to display. Here we can see planned figmas for Gwendoline from Odin Sphere, Kat and Crow from Gravity Rush 2, Ulala from Space Channel 5 and even Corrin (female) from Fire Emblem Fates and a Bloodborne tease!
Overall, it's pretty much business as usual from the mammoth line that is Figma. No real surprises this time, but a pretty solid lineup which should appeal to most buyers in some way. Personally, I haven't bought one for quite a while but I'll probably get that Takao from Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio because it's Takao!

It looks like Titans Return is generating some interesting attention in the third party realm. A group identifying as Hephaistos Works has popped up showing some prototype images for their "HM Garage" system, which appears to be storage pods for extra Titan Masters which can unfold to make weapon emplacements, and even be connected together to form more complex bases. In addition the associated weapons look like they might have 5mm handles to help arm up your larger figures. It looks like a really great concept, and hopefully is just the start for a greater variety of such add ons. Keep reading to take a look!
