I think Vertex has given us the closest thing to a figure version of the "Sonic Cycle." Their figure announcements are usually interesting and the prototypes always seem to look good but the finished products always seem to fall short of the hope and expectations the company manages to create around their figures. We then feel a little burned and say we'll be more cautious on their next release... and then it starts all over again.
And so it goes with the items on display at wonder festival with two great looking christmas themed figures from Valkyria Chronicles, a great looking Fiona from Border Break and the first figure of Black Heart from Megadimension Neptunia VII (that's V-2, not 7) in her NEXT form, which may very well be the first time we've had a power up from a character where they actually gain more clothing than lose it!
In any case, while these prototypes look pretty great, I'm going to hold judgement until they actually get released as we have seen that the final versions of their previous releases haven't really set the world on fire but it would be nice for them to keep the quality up this time!

The Transformers Movie Instagram page has put up a short clip showing part of the filming of a vehicle action sequence with the Bumblebee car prop, where Mark Wahlberg is seen having his seat slid out of the car as pieces of garbage are thrown at him, all against a standard green screen backdrop. While this might make more sense once in the context of the finished special effect shot, there's also a certain fun in trying to guess what might be happening here.
