NECA’s Rocky IV Action Figures Will Make Up Series 2 A while ago, we wrote about NECA’s starting to re-launch their Rocky action figure line. And now, we’re happy to report that they have announced a Series 2 release. Like the first series, this one will feature new figures mixed with re-releases of NECA’s past popular Rocky […]

If you saw Scaredroodle's report on up coming Anime Expo exclusives from Good Smile Company then you already got a preview of some of the exclusives headed to Wonder Festival 2016 Winter. Strangely enough, Nendoroid 447-b Solid Snake: Stealth Camouflage Ver. is nowhere to be seen in Japan yet. However, Nendoroid 556-b Mega Man: Metal Blade Ver. and figma EX-033 Yuuki are indeed headed to WF. But they've got a lot more than those two coming in what's looking like one of their biggest lineups yet!
Nendoroid 600 Saber/Artoria Pendragon- ¥4,630 There had been rumor that 600 would feature a character from GSC's smartphone game Grand Summoner, that seems to have been a misunderstanding as it's Saber from Fate/Grand Order. I can't say I'm surprised to see Saber at 600, but it would have been nice to see something different. It does look like they're trying to make her the perfect Nendo Saber giving her a crown, cape, and expressions we've never seen with her before.
Nendoroid Jumbo Hatsune Miku- ¥13,889 Can't have Wonder Festival without Miku! This time she's in jumbo form measuring in at 27cm or 10.6 inches tall. And while she's expensive she does come with an extra expression and swappable limbs just like a regular Nendo as well as a massive stand.
Osomatsu-san Mini-Figures: Overall Ver.- ¥3,704 I wont pretend to know anything about this aside from the fact that it's wildly popular in and out of Japan. So, yeah, you get six figures in the set, all in overalls. Oh, and there's a traffic cone.
figma archetype next: he - GSC 15th anniversary color ver.- ¥2,963
figma archetype next: she - GSC 15th anniversary color ver.- ¥2,963 This marks the third variation on the new "next" body type with previous versions in flesh tone and gray. The latest version features orange plastic and GSC logos on the shoulders and back. Personally I'd rather they celebrate with a full Gumako figma, but I doubt that'll ever happen.
So that's six full figures and a set of mini-figures, that's not bad at all. I do think it's a bit strange that Nendoroid 600 would be an exclusive when I seem to remember the previous milestone figures being sold at retail. Then there's figma Yuuki which, as people complained back at the Anime Expo announcement, should have been sold at retail, not as an exclusive being a major character that would certainly sell well. At least as well as Sinon did anyway.
Oh well, I'm getting Yuuki for sure, not sure about the other stuff, though maybe the other two figma since they're cheap and will split that flat rate shipping three ways.
