Dimension Diver takes on the World with new figure lines!
Dimension diver may be a name familiar with our more seasoned readers. He's a garage kit maker who specialises in making poseable figures for sale at events like Wonder Festival. His works have been covered a fair bit in the past on these very pages! BUt, for some time now, there hasn't been much news on his works. He's been at events but nothing new has appeared for some time. And now we know why!
This months scans showed off a rather intriguing Aigis poseable figure on its pages which is almost instantly recognisable due to the distinct designs from Dimension Diver, but rather than being a garage kit, this Aigis is going to be a PVC release. That's right, you will soon be able to buy your very own premade dimension diver figures at a fraction of the original cost! So far, only Aigis has been shown off, no doubt buoyed by the recent home release of Persona 4 Arena (if you live anywhere except Europe at least, who have yet to even have a release date set!).
But that's not all, a quick look at the redesigned Dimension Diver website shows that there are at least two other poseable figure lines which we can expect to see in the near future! The PolyNian line is an original work and looks to be focusing on humanoid mecha designs (think Phantasy Star Online) while the Deformar line definitely looks to have potential. Chibi designs like nendos but more poseable!
Going back to Aigis, she's had a slight redesign since her original incarnation and will come with additional accessories and firing effects. Expect to see pre-orders coming up soon as news is expected to come out in September and she has a price of ¥5,040! I'm not a big fan of poseable figures, but for Dimension Diver, I'm more than happy to make an exception!

MegaHouse's Rider aims to conquer your wallet
Confession time: I have an unhealthy obsession for Rider from Fate/Zero. While virtually everyone else who's watched the series seems to like him, I liked him to enough to watch his scenes in the anime over and over again. Although he's the guy who conquered most of the known world in his time, Rider also has a playful side, like he's the kind of dude you'd spend the day loafing off and playing video games with. Well, that's not the Rider that MegaHouse is going for -- their Rider in this month's magazine scans is 110% business, and you know what? I like it.
Standing at 26cm tall, Rider is a monster of a 1/8 scale figure, and he looks imposing just by standing there. Underneath the removable cape is a mass of leather-bound muscle that backs up Rider's title of "King of Conquerors". The pose may be on the simple side, but if I had to use one word to describe this figure, it'd be "sturdy", and considering the amount of punishment Rider can take, I'd say "sturdy" suits him just fine.
While I'm a bigger fan of the Rider's broskander side, there's no way I can not like MegaHouse's Rider -- my raging man-crush forbids it! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how the well fur on Rider's collar and bracers will be realized after the paint treatment. Of course, I'm still in the market for a more playful Rider, but I reckon there's more than enough room in my collection to accommodate another Rider figure or two.

Bandai reveals new Tiger & Bunny figure-rise 6 kits
The latest scan from Hobby Japan's October issue has popped up with the new additions to Bandai's Tiger & Bunny figure-rise series. The scan featured the figure-rise 6 model kits of Wild Tiger (FamilyMart Version), Barnaby Brooks Jr., along with the heroes Double Chaser.
FamilyMart Tiger comes with three sets of hands as well as his two wires guns "Wild Shot". Bunny may be posed doing his 'See Ya' wave; however no specifics were given on what his other extra hands could be. Sadly, there was no mention of either kit including the GOOD LUCK Mode feature. The Double Chaser is still in its unpainted grey stage, but you have the option to have the heroic duo ride the motorcycles attached or separately.
The 5.9 inch kits of Wild Tiger and Barnaby will be available this November retailing at ¥1,890 each, while the 9.4 inch Double Chaser is set for December with a ¥3,990 price. Pre-orders should open up relatively soon, so we'll make sure to keep you posted with any new details.

And if you have not been skydiving - I thoroughly recommend it as being one of the things you must do before you die - incredible experience. This photo taken 10 years ago near Seattle during my times at Amazon - unfortunately my otaku level was very low at the time so no Dakimakure.
Before we jumped, they showed us videos of people who died during Skydiving accidents - then asked us if we were sure that we wanted to sign the form ^^;
