Say what you will about Krillin, nobody in Dragon Ball Z is better at being frozen with fear and becoming completely useless than Vegeta. Sure, there's nobody cockier than him either when he thinks a win is certain, but when overwhelmingly outclassed he turns into puddle of sweat. So of course you want a figure of that, right?
Premium Bandai is once again making figures people didn't know they wanted with HG Vegeta. The HG this time around stands for "Hajimete no Gatagata", literally "Trembling for the First Time", and is based on his first encounter with Frieza's final form on Namek. Despite the strangeness of the figure it's exceptionally well done with lots of great sculpted details and paint. The look on his face is captured perfectly! But he's more than just his looks; insert a AAA battery into his base and the figure will slightly vibrate to complete the effect.
The figure sells for ¥4,949, itself a joke on the Japanese term "shikushiku" (しくしく) meaning to cry. He'll be out in June, but unfortunately being Premium Bandai you're going to have to find a proxy if you want your own soggy Vegeta figure.

Mr Elljay on Weibo has posted a pair of photos today showing off another entry in the always long-awaited Function X series from Fansproject. Browning II is a (loose) anagram of Highbrow and is the next Headmaster character to come along. The robot and vehicle shots here represent a production sample, showing full colors for the first time, and indicating this figure is probably, finally, close to getting released. Following on from Masterpiece Delta Magnus, we have images via Planet Iacon showing upcoming entries in TakaraTomy's Legends line, bringing the start of their run on Titans Return molds. Reportedly, LG-21 is Hardhead, LG-22 is Skullcruncher, and LG-23 is Galvatron. Hardhead is seen in color, showing the direction the Legends decos may go in. Most interesting is both Deluxes seem to come with the weapon/vehicle accessories we'll be seeing from Hasbro separately as the Titan Master pricepoint. Click through for the (low res) images!
