With graduation day just around the corner I decided to revise my graduation gown for an 18" to 20" doll pattern.
It is one of my best selling patterns and because it is easily adjusted is used to make all sorts of graduation caps and gown for various size dolls, bears, centerpieces at graduation parties, etc.
There is also a story behind the creation of this pattern which I wrote about in a Linda's Blog post entitled, "Customer Request - Graduation Cap and Gown E-Pattern for 20" Doll." Please CLICK HERE if you would like to read that story.
I also decided to make a graduate cap and gown for the Molly American Girl Doll that hubby had given me several years ago for Christmas. It looks adorable on her.
That present caused quite a stir in The Dollie Storage Room. If you'd like to read my Linda's Blog post entitled, "She's A TRAITOR! Off With Her Head!" please CLICK HERE.
My new graduation cap and gown for an 18" or 20" doll e-pattern is for making a gown with a two-snap front closure with fold down lapels, gathered front, and mid length full sleeves. The lined cap has a cardboard top, tassel, and elastic strap for affixing the cap to the doll's head.
