Another So Soft Newborn Pony? Who is Princess Skyla?
Could we perhaps have the newborn version of the child of Princess Cadance and Shining Armor on our hands? Well, no one knows just yet, in fact maybe Princess Skyla is just a relative. Maybe she's Cadance's younger sister? There's no use speculating, even if it is fun.
What we know right now is that Princess Skyla will be one of the next ponies in the So Soft Newborn line, and apparently it looks like she stole Princess Celestia's tiara. Although there's no word on when you'll be able to pick her up, it looks like she should be coming up soon in the line. I'll be curious to see her in person, but there's just something odd about these piggy-looking ponies to me. I wonder what all she'll say other than that she's sleepy.

Pounce on a second chance at Kotobukiya's Xiaomei
It's only been a few months since Koto's lovely kitty from the Shining series hit shelves, but apparently she's been so popular orders have already opened up for a re-release! Of course, I can't blame them, as anything by Tony Taka is sure to be a big seller no matter how many opportunities pop up to grab one.
Once again, I adore everything about her design, and I must reiterate how much in particular I love the positioning of her tail! I will say I prefer the option to remove her taiyaki, however, as it seems a little forcibly placed otherwise. Even so, like all (most?) Shining figures, she's one gorgeous kitty and still looks to be a must have. She'll be arriving this December for around ¥8,200.

Translucent Mini Ponies all over the place!
Haven't gotten enough of the translucent mini ponies yet? Well, you're in for several more with the newer blind bags. If they don't happen to be in the blind bags, perhaps they will end up with a set like they had with the previous Crystal Empire figures.
There are several ponies that have names (or at least fan names) that are in this series as well, including: Lily, Katt Apples, Lonsdaleite, Blueberry, Lucky, Holly Dash, Rarity, Apple Fritter and Cherry Pie. There is also a new stallion that possibly looks like he could be someone we'll see in the new season of the show considering how much detail is on his figure. Hopefully we'll see who he is soon! I can't wait to be able to get my hands on several of these mini figures.
